I refinanced my home in the summer of 2021 with Jack Shull and his team. It was all done online as I live in the Austin area. The closing was done in my home by the title company rep. I made several changes along the way and what I can tell you is that it went very smoothly. They have mastered the remote loan process and it worked well. I would highly recommend them for your mortgage loan needs.

Jack Shull and “his team” are a complete joke. They left me and my family homeless for 5 nights and basically “ghosted me” since nobody would communicate what was going on with my loan or when we could expect closure. I had to get this information from the escrow officer instead of them! Understandably, they were upset because I went to their corporate office in San Diego when I wasn’t getting any answers. While I’m not sure if that had something to do with ignoring me, it really doesn’t matter since I learned over my 40+ years of serving the public that you have to work with all customer types no matter what.
When I asked jack if he’d consider helping with hotel expenses since we had nowhere to go and our belongings were already moved to storage, he literally laughed at me and basically told me it was my fault the loan wasn’t closing on time.
Corp office was just as unhelpful so I suppose that’s the culture of apathy which permeates from top on down to managers like him who could also care less. You’d think they’d treat a real estate professional with a voice with more empathy, respect, and courtesy, especially since I’d fed them business for years leading up to this debacle.
