Great service, they accommodated our large party and attended to us often and drinks never went empty! Food of course was amazing and portions well worth the price!

If you want to pay for tap water, this is the place for you! We were bike riding and although there was no bike rack, the staff was more than accommodating in providing a safe place for them to be left while we ate. It was to be an hour wait for the table so we went to order drinks at the bar where we were met with what seemed to be a sour bartender. We asked some questions regarding the beer available and, with his stellar customer service skills, he mumbled a few words under his breath & appeared as if our question was such an imposition. We decided for two vodka and soda which, as many know is carbonated water. We were charged $14 for the "club soda" part of the drink along with $6 for the vodka. Given this odd/excessive charge for carbonated water, i simply ordered a double vodka on ice once we were seated. Waitress asked if I wanted water to which I indicated I did, as did the rest of everyone at the table. At the end of it all, we were given a bill that included two $3 charges for the vodka as well as $7 for my water. We asked the waitress what that was about and she seemed baffled and said she'd speak to the manager about the charge. Surely this wasn't the first time someone has complained about being the only person at the table charged for tap water. The manager came over and indicated it's just how it rings up when a drink is ordered & they need to "fix it". She indicated the vodka should have rang up at $5 each versus $3 each so she reduce my water to $4 instead of $7. So I guess things don't ring up as they should and if you complain about being charged for water they'll increase the price of the liquor. Odd too given another person at the table ordered a margarita and wasn't charged for water. I've had drinks here before and have never been charged for carbonated/tap water. I guess they just make/change things up as they go now? I don't write many reviews but this was just too ridiculous not to share. Needless to say, i don't want to be charged for water and therefore won't be going back.

As a Chicago native, finding good Chicago-style pizza in SA ain't easy. Guillermo's does an excellent job. Crust is delicious and they are very generous with the toppings. We will be back.

It was great! The pizza was so delicious n also the lasagna n spaghetti. Recommended 100%. Great services n their micheladas are the bomb, yummy

This place could be a 5 star however. EVERYTIME we come here we have HORRIBLY RUDE service. It's a shame because the food is great. But with the rude staff it just puts a damper on our evening every time and we've been going here for a few years now, everytime hoping the service has changed because the food is so good but no, disappointing every single time! This time it was a server named Hector who was rude to us the second he came up to our table. So sad.

Fairly new to the San Antonio area but this was one of the first restaurants we tried and we were not disappointed! Their sandwiches are amazing (I get the steak and cheese. You can get it with fries or one of their salads, both are great). Their customer service is always on point! The history of the building is just a plus. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Detached service. Most of the servers had attitudes. You have to walk to get your drinks in another building. The service is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Sometimes it's great and sometimes you just want to go to McDonald's. A bit overpriced as well.

Laidback and friendly place with outstanding food. From the appetizers to the desserts the quality is top notch. I have been coming to Guillermo’s for several years and I have always been impressed by their food and friendly staff.

Food was great this is a great place to have a small get together we played $20.00 a person and had pizza, pastas, salad and sandwiches. Alcohol is separate but the private rooms with it's own restroom was very nice. Had our own server which took excellent care of all our guest. I would recommend this place for any small get together. Easy access located in North downtown.

Always great to eat at Guillermo's Restaurant.food in my opinion is made with love. Food is always fresh tasting, portions are good, and are priced in line with mainstream restaurants that aren't as good tasting. Service is very nice, and the staff meet your needs, and more. Will always visit Guillermo's Restaurant when in the downtown area.if you've never tried it get a move on you'll enjoy it.

This Place For Lunch Is Amazing! They Have This Amazing Lunch Special & Its A Decent Portion Size. The Bowtie Pasta Salad Is To Die For! It's The Best Salad I've Had EVER!

iHad The Chicken Alfredo Casserole For Lunch With A Mangonada Margarita

I had made a carry out order with two burgers cause I told my girlfriend y'all had good burgers. Unfortunately my burgers were super dry and tasted bad.

Best pizza in town. Very quaint and cozy. Our service was wonderful. But I enjoyed the Margaritas most. Nice environment and fun place.

This restaurant was great.had a going off to college with our granddaughter.food was outstanding, heard no complaints from anyone. Had a party of 15.we're put in the "haunted house" area.service was outstanding as well. Will definitely go back and prices were not out of range.

The chicken caesar sandwich on ciabatta bread was off the chain, the cold bottle 2xx beers were iced like cold ice cubes, our bartender even though it was close to closing time, took our order with no hesitation, thanks guys, and we didn't stay long considering it was closing time, but we always go and have a blast

My previous visits was excellent, but yesterday I was not totally satisfied. It was to hot inside while waiting and my food didn't have that same taste.

Great food and great margaritas! They were kind enough to hold my reservation for 12 even after we ran late! Excellent service, check them out!

If you like avocado and a touch of chipotle this is a good place to try the Chef Mando Pita, it comes with the bow tie salad, don't forget to ask for their home made italian dressing, it's a bomb!

Great food, service, amazing happy hours and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit!
