Gyro Hut, Houston TX

Maaaan.if this is an example of how food is cooked in NYC. I now understand why the people from there are so hostile. I got Talipia over rice.and when I tell you it had not a bit of flavor.none.the shrimp were the preheat and serve kind. I was incredibly disappointed ️. The only thing that saved this place was the 100% fruit juice. I threw the food away in their trash can. I didn't even want it in my car. I wasted my money and time

This place taste like the food was washed in dishwater or the bowl had been washed in industrial cleaner and not rinsed. Super disappointed. Defiantly would not eat here ever again.

If you want similar cuisine try Halal Guys!

The food is good but you only get a small serving size of the sides. It’s kind of expensive and you get charged for stuff they don’t tell you that they are charging for. The prices being advertised don’t match what you actually pay. I am so sick of companies being deceitful!

Young Lady working there, skipped over My order, & served 4 people, before a Young Man came and asked her why she skipped My order. To which she simply shrugged her shoulders. Like, oh well. No apologies, when I asked her either.

Great food but it seems like day by day they give you less and lesser portions of food, the employees have attitudes as well. You can pay for extra sauce or extra meat and they will get mad if you ask them for more after you weren’t given extra. They were better 2 years ago.

I loved the food. I had a lamb gyro and it tasted wonderful. Lots of meat, so my pita was overflowing (not complaining one bit). But the red sauce is really hot. I would recommend anyine ordering food from there to ask the staff not to put the red sauce on. Other than that it was a great experience.

Was visiting Texas and tried this place. It was open late and the place is located in a nice spot. Tried their gyro and kebab combo, wonderful food and tasty. The sauce, rice and salad on the side was fantastic. The customer service was great and the quantity for the price was amazing. The price is really affordable and the restaurant was so clean and very pleasant to walk in. Definitely a great place to try.

This was my first time here and all i can say is the food was delicious and tasty. There are so many choices to pick from that in the end I got the lamb with fries and hot sauce. Went around noon and the restaurant was super clean. The employees are super nice and helpful in helping you decide what to order. Our order didn't take any time at all and was made fresh right there for us. Will be visiting this location more often as I can see this becoming one of my favorites restaurants to eat at!

DO NOT eat FALAFEL from here. It is very dry and does not even taste like it should. It seems like they are using frozen premade falafels rather than making them fresh themselves.

Very friendly and prompt staff! Great and tasty options for vegetarians like me! Will keep visiting here again and again!

I ordered the Combo Platter yesterday and I must say it was pretty good. The Chicken was well seasoned I must say. The only reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars is because of the customer service. The chick that was taking the order came off a bit Rude, like she didn’t want to be there it wasn’t a Hello, How Can I help you? NOTHING… She literally just looked me upside my head… smh Customer Service means ALOT to me when it come to a business. (If you don’t like your job find something else)

One of the gyro with sliced lamb instead it was chopped so I decided to try the gyro fries.bad choice! They don't have cheese my fries came with just gyro meat and the rice was disgusting

I'd have to say that the taste of the food is pretty good. Lamb is tender and chicken has good seasoning. White sauce is good but the red wasn't that spicy compared to the other gyro hut I've been too. Now maybe my only issue is, "Am I getting my money's worth of food" because takeout here comes in the white take away boxes but at Halal guys we get the round tin box. Gyro hut is maybe ~$1-$3 more expensive than halal guys but it feels like I am getting less food. The experience here was good but I'm finding it hard to want to come here when it isn't any better than Hala guys and I pay less at Halal guys.

My wife and I chose to eat at Gyro King after a long day. We met Robert, who genuinely seems to care for his customer's experience. He treated us well and recommended the lamb and chicken combo. It was amazing! Definitely recommend you come meet Robert and try their excellent food.

Food used to be good but looks like the quality is degrading. Ordered Chicken over rice just to realized the salad wasn’t clean at all. It still had mud on it.
I called in to notify them asap. Hope this doesn’t repeat

Everything was fabulous except my falafel and it was overcooked and dry! My husband enjoyed his gyro and I loved my chicken and rice platter just disappointed in the falafel

I believe I'm addicted I absolutely love this place, always get the lamb plate! Super delicious food, great customer service and I am a forever fan.

Horrible horrible presentation, we ordered from doordash and I’ve never seen such horrible plate, not only did the send me an incomplete order they didn’t even put enough meat. Will never order again from this location, save your money.

Great staff and great customer service, but food quality was mediocre, the falafels were hard to chew and both myself and the people i got the carry out for were disappointed.
