Grocery Store H-E-B reviews
19Gotta say.good selection.good meats.very friendly staff.heb stands for the owners name harry e butts.gotta love it
Everyone was extremely helpful & pleasant. I was getting things (cake, cards, etc.) for my son & future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner.great experience!
Fresh produce, fresh meat, would be good to have more variety with yogurts. Customer service is good too
Love HEB and this is the one closest to me, in Kemah. Always clean, fairly well stocked, although some things are in short supply, HEB is my favorite supermarket.
Good stock Had what I needed today we got in wandered around a lot more than we actually wanted and got out wasn't too crowded but it is getting quite busy
This is a great HEB to shop in-store, and the curbside employees are always very friendly, however I’ve had bad experience after bad experience with their curbside pickup. I buy a lot of produce, and nearly every time I pick up an order, it contains rotten produce. This particular time I got a bag of rotten broccoli (there is a big brown rotten broccoli floret clearly visible right in the front of the bag) and two rotten onions. Both have big mushy black spots that take up the entire side of the onion. How are the shoppers paying so little attention that they miss that? On top of that I ordered 3 ripe avocados and got hard green unripe ones that I won’t be able to use for the smoothies I was making tonight. What’s the point of curbside if I have to waste my time, gas, and money to replace the rotten or unripe items? If you don’t have any unspoiled items of the produce that I’m ordering, just remove it from my order so that I’m at least not being charged for it.
Staff is nice but the shelf’s contain items in the wrong areas sometimes and/ is out of stock. Give it a 4 because of how clean it was and how helpful the staff were.
Popular local grocery store, they seem to have a few products. I can only find occasionally other places
The store is always stocked, organized and super clean. Add in a please staff always available to help, grocery shopping isn’t a chore anymore, It’s like hanging out with friends.
One of the nicest stores in the area. It is clean has a large selection and they have my favorite tortillas. Pro tip: if you have kids, are too busy to shop, or don't want to shop. Order your groceries for pick up on the app. It is free and they bring them to your car and load them in your trunk. It is very convenient. They have delivery too for an additional price.
Usually really happy with this store but definitely not when I'm out at dinner and get 4 phone calls in 1 hour to tell me my order is ready early and can I come pick it up. Picked that time for reason and I was even there early. I get not wanting to work late but my goodness. Unprofessional.
Curbside pickup takes so long i might as well go inside and shop myself kroger only takes like 5 mins but i thought “here everything’s better” i was sadly mistaken and very disappointed
Guacamole way too expensive and gets brown right away plus they add citric acid not real lemon that might help with the browning right away
I bought a pumpkin pie there today. When I got it home I noticed it only had about 1/5 to 1/4 " of filling.
$12.99 for that pie. What a rip-off. Guess I should've gone to KROGERS.
Much more expensive than Walmart. Has more variety to offer than other grocery stores. It is clean and the employees very polite. They were having strawberries on sales I opened the plastic containers and 90% of them were spoiled.must be very careful with their, "fruit sales" they just want get rid of bad fruits.
I love my HEB. I have tried curbside and home delivery and had very positive experience with both. The store is always clean and well stocked. All employees are helpful. Sundays the parking lot is packed so go early.
I like the store but I swear they train their employees to get in your way every step of the way very rude
Best HEB in the area. The one on Clear Lake City Blvd is TERRIBLE. Never had what I'm looking for so in it shop at any other HEB in the area. Spoke to store director who handed it off to one of his managers. Passing the buck.won't put up with that. Too many other grocery stores to choose from out here.
Manager was rude af, customer service rep was rude after being asked a question about a return, had attitude and overall unwelcome. Process was done though. Left in a sour mood due to being snapped at because she didn't want to do the return. Not a fan. HEB otherwise as usual is clean, calm, organized and running nicely.
