Grocery Store H-E-B reviews
14Good product selection with reasonable (?) prices, but if you are looking for customer service forget it. H E B scrapes the bottom of the barrel as far as customer care or service. Rude in store service, partial and messed up home deliveries.and total unconcern when they screw up.
I used to do favor until I was verbally and physically assaulted by a manager who was very rude and pushed items in my chest in anger. Instead of acting out I reported this issue to the head management team inside like a mature adult to a couple of Caucasian managers running the store. The next day they lied and turned it on me and I was terminated from the app. Now I don't have money for lawyers and sometimes these people realize that and see you as nothing as a black man. All I can do is move on with my life powerless to this racist issue but aleast I can get my truth out. I was very hurt because I tried to do the right thing but thanks to those managers I was treated unfair
Waited for 15 minutes in the seafood department with no help. I decided to ask someone if they could get me an associate for help. When she finally came she was very rude and hated that she had to help me. Sorry you had to do your job.
I just LOVE me some H-E-B, fresh food and HEB'S brand is giving big brand names competition.
The best grocery experience I've had in a while. Just recently moved to town and love shopping here
What can I say about HEB. I really love their seasoned chicken and meat fajitas. I always find the best prices in town.
I can always trust that I will find what I need in this place. The staff is always super friendly too.
The variety that you get at this place! Online the prices seem higher than Walmart, but I spend way less here than at Walmart and I get bulks!
I think their fruits and veggies selection are better quality as well.
I definitely recommend HEB!
I'm grateful for free curbside pickup. But I'm concerned for the safety of your employees. Why doesn't this store have signs to watch out for pedestrians like the HEB located on West University?
If you're going to hire the youngest, rudest, most unprofessional people you can find, please put them in the back where customers don't have to deal with them. No smiles.no communication skills.no people skills at all. Stop hiring these 18 year olds who have a chip on their shoulder. The rest of us don't want to deal with them. And we shouldn't have to.
I want to know what kind of person figures out all the requirements for the in store coupons. If you buy this you get this free if buy this that is somewhere hidden across the store, so many ounces, hidden beneath the wrong sized item. Or you get 3$ of your basket if you buy 30$ worth of something you would never want to buy 30$ worth. Your coupons are not worth the time or effort.
The curbside people block isles, and never apologize. They walk out from between cars without looking.
I have three young kids so I am thankful for the free curbside pickup. I have only ever had an issue a couple times with forgetting my items, but most of the time I have no issues and the workers are friendly.
It always seems to be crowded, but I still prefer to shop here. At least it is a Texas based company. Like every other store, getting less and less on the shelves. Prices are continuing to climb as well.
