H-E-B plus!, Austin TX

Let's be honest East Riverside not a really nice place to be but the HEB does the best they can for the people in the area I just would not recommend leaving any type of valuables in the car or vehicle that can be seen just good advice, be blessed.

My HEB on Riverside dr.and Plesant Vally rd. Clean place very well staffed close to my house and just a Great store to shop at. The Best in Customer service. Thanks HEB.

Sort of dirty and messy, but they have what you need most of the time. Big help to the community though.

This morning there was hardly any traffic on the way there, and when I got there it was almost deserted. Very few customers. Plenty of check stand lines were open, so no wait, and every employee in the store seemed especially polite, and in a very festive mood.
I dislike shopping in the first place, but today was actually enjoyable. KUDOS to all of the employees.

A very old HEB that needs a good cleaning and reorganization. They have a huge client base and are always busy. The parking lot is usually pretty full.

I love this Heb, they have great personnel if you need meats cut according to your liking they will do so, plus they have great steaks, rib eye steaks for a great price so do your self and visit my Heb

The supermarket is very large and you can spend a lot of time if you do not have a shopping list! XD
one finds everything; from fruits and fresh vegetables to clothes.there is also an oven that prepares excellent products.the prices of their production are convenient.the shop assistants are very kind!

No complaints regarding service, but it gets extremely crowded here and the parking lot is a nightmare. Not the staff's fault, of course, but something to keep in mind before coming here.

The pharmacy waited for me, and helped me with an extra-difficult transaction. I am so thankful to the pharmacist and the incredibly kind staff for providing my grandmother with albuterol tonight. Thank you.

It was excellent. I found what I needed no trouble at all the cashier was nice and respectful. I love HEB that's my primary store.

It was not as crowded as I expected so we got finished quickly, and that's always a good thing. There were a lot of Christmas deals. The employees were pleasant and helpful.

Employees are very polite and down to earth. Have ordered cakes without any issues both over the phone and onlineLOVE love this HEB! Everything is always very well organized and everyone is very knowledgeable about where they work.

I used shoppers assistant. She with very helpful and knowledgeable about the store. She were very patient and help me find saevis saving with coupons.it was very peaceful relaxing and everybody were helpful.

Worst shopping experience I've had in a long time. Staff was friendly until inconvenienced, and store was not very clean. I was shopping around 11pm and finished at closing. I was surprised when I had to pay $. 27/bag and then had to bag my own groceries. Overall not a good experience and will not be going back to this store.

They have a friendly & helpful staff, however, their selection of products was very limited. They are supposed to be an HEB Plus but they are nothing like other HEB Plus stores that I have been to. Their selection of products was absolutely pitiful. I didn't find several items that I needed. I've been in smaller, regular HEB stores that have a much better selection. Also, the shelves were a mess! It made it all the harder to find products that I needed. I won't be going back to this HEB again.

Buy my groceries at HEB only. While the stores are excellent the main reason they get ALL my business is their involvement with the state and communities in times of need.

Summary: just about anything and everything and then some. Very good prices with lots of uniquely Texas products

Details: this HEB is a great store. It can be busy but that never means that the check out lines are slow. They have a LOT of check out lines and even curbside pickup. You can even order beer and wine to be delivered. Of all the HEBs I've been to, this one is slightly messier (love to of stuff in the isles sometimes) but still a great store with nice staff.

Always a great shopping experience at H-E-B. The staff is always helpful and friendly and they have great products. They maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality which is visible across all the aisles. They also carry fresh meat and seafood to enjoy, the bakery is amazing with some mouth watering cakes. I have personally tried some of their pies and cakes and always came back for more.

They are in the process of rearranging the store and hopefully it will make it easier to navigate the aisles. When the store is busy getting around can be challenging and after about 10: 00 pm the stockers start setting out pallets which makes navigating the aisles almost impossible.
You may consider avoiding this store on the 1st and 7th of the month. This is when SNAP recipients receive their benefits and this store gets picked over hard on those days in particular.
The pharmacy can get very busy and I've called in a prescription in the morning and when I went to pick it up 6 hours later it was still not ready so I advise you to call before you go. When it is really busy, wait time for your prescription can be well over an hour to get it filled.
It is because of these problems that I rated this store 3 stars.
If the rearrangement results in improved maneuverability I will post an update.
11/22/18 Just when I think this store can't get worse they prove me wrong. Granted today is Thanksgiving and the store is busy.very busy. I went there yesterday as well and "madhouse" is what comes to mind.
I called in a prescription yesterday 3 hours prior to getting off work. I asked how long it would take and was told it would be ready by 2: 00 pm. I arrived at about 4: 00 pm and not surprisingly my prescription wasn't ready. They started working on it AFTER I was already at the counter and so I had to wait for them to do what should have already been done.
I call in my prescriptions so that I don't have to sit there and wait but for some reason they can NOT seem to do their job with any competence. This is not the first time this has occurred. Previously I gave them 6 hours of time between when I called and when I arrived and they hadn't bothered to touch my prescription until I was there. It took another 30 minutes before it was ready.
This store is horrible. Don't go after 10: 00 pm because you will not be able to navigate the aisles because they have pallets and boxes stacked in the way.
Apparently the store management does not care if the customers are inconvenienced or whether they can push a shopping cart down the aisles.
Today I was the 2nd in line at an express checkout lane. It took almost 30 minutes to get checked out because of ill prepared people doing a return without a receipt and without the card they used to make the purchase and the need to repeatedly get a manager to authorize the return. Returns should NEVER be accepted at express checkout lanes. The customer should have been directed to the service desk instead of making a line of people wait for her to figure out what she was doing.
This store is poorly managed and that includes the pharmacy.
Of all the HEBs I've been in this one is at the bottom.
If you can avoid it do so.
