H Mart reviews
19The store has some really cool groceries and products. The food court has so much delicious food. The restrooms are pretty clean.
Food court didn't open on time and 3 of the places didn't even seem to want to open, went to another place down the strip center
Nice and clean Korean grocery store. You can find a lot of Oriental stuff here and fresh or frozen sea food, vegetables and fruits from the East.
It is slightly more expensive than the stores on Bellaire. If I don't feel like driving much, this is where I will shop next time.
We love H-mart in Katy, TX. They have great selection of korean snacks, fresh produce and amazing Korean food. They even have a skincare, beauty products and Kpop merchandise. The staff is nice and helpful! Highly recommended this location.
My preference is the HMart on Blalock as I think the food offerings inside the store are better. That being said, the shops in the surrounding Katy "Asia Town" are very good.
Great store for Asian favorites that are hard to find elsewhere. Goes without saying that this is not the best option for items you can find at an HEB (e.g. Blue Bell ice cream) as the prices on these items tend to be higher.
This location has big shoes to fill when matching up to the one on Blalock close to Koreatown. They've done a phenomenal job in maintaining a clean and well stocked store every single time. So far it's looking awesome for the future of Katy Chinatown if they continue to have stores like this one. I haven't had a shot at the food court but I'm excited to have another reason to visit again in the future. For more review and tips follow @willavilahtx / sayyestohome.com
Super cool selection of things.very interesting to walk around the aisles.everything’s obviously more pricey than what they sell for in their origin countries but that’s expected
I have been to a few Asian markets and this is definitely the best one I've been to in the Houston area. They had a huge selection. The store wasn't too crowded and checkouts were fast as well. It was actually kind of a date with my SO and we really enjoyed perusing the neat stuff that you don't ordinarily see. Will definitely be back.
Decent selection, but not nearly as big as the one in town. Has sashimi grade fish for making sushi. Produce is fresh and a good variety of Asian produce you can only find at 1 other store in Katy, 99 ranch.
If you haven’t been, recommend checking this place out.
Awesome snacks and great products. Favorite grocery store hands down
DO NOT BUY the unagi bento box from Sushi Hara. The menu picture shows it comes with 2 large pieces of unagi. In actuality it comes only with 5 thin slices of unagi. For $13.99, its daylight robbery.
H Mart Katy area has always been fabulous and welcoming! It’s truly a hidden area of Katy! I’m definitely going to be back to try other restaurants. Today was Bubble Egg.and it was amazing!
Busy for a Thursday. Got alot the groceries done. Somewhat more pricer than other asian grocery stores. They need more people working at the check out line, because the lines were going into the food aisle and we have to dodge people. The upside is that the lines were moving fast.
I love H Mart. However, the big difference about this one compared to others I have been to is that they sell alcohol. I went to Japan a few years back, and I've looked all over for the beers I tried while there. I was very surprised to find them here. For all your Asian food and beverage needs, this is the place to be.
Finally an Asian grocery store nearby for convenient shopping. There’s plenty of food for dine-in inside the store also. The location is perfect with other restaurants and boba/dessert places in the plaza! Definitely recommend Katy Asian Town!
You can find some good fruits and veggies that normally won't be available at regular grocery stores, as well as some Asian specific food.
Very nice and clean place well stock market, if i have one complaint is the smell of fish as soon you come in the store. Is a shame cause theres a bakery at front imagine if you smell the cakes and cookies fist? Just takes you by surprise but I will go again
The cashier saira marin was really rude. I politely asked to do three separate transactions. I ended up paying in one card.
Please train your cashier's
Love this place! We shop here often for those specialty items, and for gifts. Staff is friendly, nice little beauty essentials shop in front of the registers.
