Halal5 Food Truck reviews
20First time trying Hala5, it was absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients. Food came out quick! Will definitely be back for more!
The old man that’s works there was coughing and not covering is mouth avoid this place. They have a sick guy working there during this Covic 19 outbreak madness. The Health department needs to visit this place.
I love this place so much! Their shawarmas omg. I have not been to any place that serves shawarmas better than theirs. So good and the prices are great!
I just picked up a box of falafel and its was horrible! Cold stale and no taste! We have picked up falafel from the food truck park at Westheimer so many times and we always get hot n fresh Falafel. Highly disappointed with Halal 5.7$ for 5 pcs.worthless!
Adnan provided exceptional service as we tried the Halal5 food truck for first time. We had the chicken shawarma wrap and chicken over rice. They were delicious, piping hot, and extremely reasonable. Highly recommend them as they went above and beyond. 5 stars.
The BBQ wrap is very good! Slightly spicy with a touch of sweet. Chicken over rice was ok. Great presentation on both.
Made me wait 15 minutes for chicken over rice and it wasn't even good.really bland and too much rice. Also I was the only customer at the time and they still took that long. Too much time gossiping inside the truck
Once you get used to a certain local demographic serving you Chinese food, seeing them serve you kebabs and gyros really doesn't phase you anymore. And the food's pretty good too.
They came to my school for international festival and were very kind! I really enjoyed their food and they worked very fast!
This is by far the best halal food I’ve had in Houston, and the most friendliest staff 10 stars if it was possible.
Love these guys! I could eat the chicken over rice every day! Always fresh ingredients, and the service is unparalleled! These guys love what they do and it comes through in every dish!
Rubbish food. Nothing like pictures. My burger was overflowing with mayonnaise and ketchup and no salad at all. Person helping the front man had dirty clothes on like homeless and he was dealing with food.
It taste so good! Better than others.this gonna be my new favorite place to get shawarma.its juicy and lots of sauce. I really like it even my husband loves it too.
Excellent selection of food and the best Halal restaurant. A reasonable price and service there so good and helpful. I recommend Halal 5 cafe.
How do you have a cook that doesn't know how to cook off the menu. I went there, ofcourse he had chicken over rice but when I asked for bun kabab and the grilled gyro wrap he said, "oh I don't know how to cook that. "
Iv has both the chicken shawarma and the chicken over rice and both are amazing! The chicken shawarma is a little spicy for me but the chicken over rice is PHENOMENAL!
First of all, we got overcharged. We had ok played 42 dollars instead of the actual price which was 32. We told them that we needed 10 dollars back and we explained the math, but they only have us 5. We ordered 2 fries and only got one. And he charged us for the second one. We also ordered 4 chicken shawarmas and we got 2 beef and 2 chicken instead. The beef and the chicken were hard and tasteless. All you could taste ate the spice. Might as well not put the meat in the first place. This food truck is horrible. Don't order from here.
Very friendly staff but I just got the grilled chicken burger and the chicken was raw, had to throw it away!
Small menu but all the food I have tried on it is very good. I have tried the chicken over rice and the shawarma (both chicken and beef are good). Be warned the parking is super cramped and the truck is off a super busy road which is next to impossible to get out of without being rude anywhere near rush hour. Picture a limited number of small roads feeding into a bunch of neighborhoods.
