Hallmark Restaurant reviews
20Orders are always to salty and the cook never Accepts his flaws. To expensive for salty food never remade or corrected
My 1st time eating at this place and my experience was horrible. It took a hour n a half for the food 2 come out
And then when I got my food it was all wrong. I asked for extra syrup never got it, I ask for hot sauce and water never got it, I ask for extra napkins never got it, it was just horrible service. I don't recommend anyone to eat here.
SO good! I wouldn't recommend eating here if you have to get alot done afterwards because, you WILL be sleepy! This is that hearty portioned, lazy weekend day type of place. Very yummy, reasonably priced and the staff is always really down to earth. Don't let the look of things, and sometimes the crowd be off putting to you. Everything is cooked fresh,
veggies, real eggs, thick cuts if bacon and good sized fish filets etc. The biscuits are like those dense homemade biscuits your old Granny use to make, and you could only eat 1. This place beats ANY other breakfast chain by far everyday! This is my once a month guilty pleasure.
They sure have changed in years. Still GOOD FOOD THE NIGHT COOK IS BEST, BUT THE FLOOR STAFF, SMH. I DONT WANT TO COME TO DINNER AND HEAR ABOUT THE WAITRESS TALKING ABOUT ANY OTHER WAITRESS. SAD PART IS ITS ALWAYS THE OLDER LADY BEING THIS WAY.
Unorganized noone seems to know what the other is doing this could be an awesome place if had better management because the food looked really good however I waited over 15 min for an order of fries
Food is always delicious, waitress is always so nice, feels like I'm eatting at family's house rather then restaurant.
Take out was pretty quick even though it was busy. The waitress that took my order was great with every she dealt with. As was everyone else. Food was out of the kitchen and on the tables almost as soon as it was finished cooking. The burger I had was just right. The fries were cold by time I got home, but the main food was still hot.
We hadn't been in restaurant for many months. Was so excited to go in as it was our favorite spot in Killeen. A weekday morning so it wasn't busy which was exciting but now I know why.
The quality of food was no where near what it use to be. The prices are higher now. Almost $5 for a single cup of gravy! We got 2 breakfast meals which was a skillet and a biscuits/gravy plate (plus a gravy cup and drinks) and it was $40
The biscuits were doughy, scrambled eggs were runny, and the tea was basically brown water.
The service was really good though and the only reason it gets a 2 star
Very very disappointed in what Hallmark is now.
I love their catfish and their tortilla soup. Also their waitresses are the greatest to me.
Sit down dinner with a friendly hometown astomphere. Fired catfish was really crisp and plentiful, even on the senior plate I took home some to share. Great staff, smiled and attentive.
They won't let you sub on meals you have to get what's offered and they charge you $5 for just one side of macaroni who does that and they're closed sometimes and sometimes they're open not very clean either
Just feels like some good ol southern home cookin here man. Everytime i visit the area i go here at least once. Cant keave texas without it!
Great place for breakfast - lots of military folks come here. I get the "Trash Can Skillet" with toast and hash browns and it's bomb.
Not our to go place but went there recently for all you can eat catfish on Friday. Besides the catfish have gone for breakfast. The portions are large, the food is great and the staff friendly. Not fancy or trendy but good down home comfort food. Great family atmosphere and good value for the money. Plan to go back again soon for breakfast.
I ordered coffee, scrambled eggs sausage toast. My plate was just nasty and then it came to 15 bucks. No no no not going back. In my opinion this is not a nice place to enjoy a cup of joe or breakfast unless you don't have a choice and dont care.
***WARNING*** THE GUY IN THE KITCHEN DOESNT WEAR GLOVES.spreading covid.
We are going through a pandemic. This is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time I walk out because you're NOT wearing gloves.
Geez.
First time eating here and it was super busy.a good sign! The food was really good and the waitress was funny and had a great attitude.
Biscuits and sausage gravy are off the chain. Massive portion. Delicious. Add a couple eggs.
The food could have been better the burgers where made with the those gross box burgers u can get at any local dollar general. The fries were ok and the fried pickles were on point. The service could use improvement as well
Best breakfast and brunch spot in Fort Hood, Killeen, Harker Heights hands down. Breakfast is served all day. They also have lunch and dinner items available. My favorite is the Catfish!
