Hampton Inn Abilene reviews
18Hotel staff was amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.the breakfast was delicious every day. Everything was walking distance or at least 10 minutes away.
There was a few bugs roaches in room I guess from where they sprayed and when I notified the staff they stated it normal and fine. I will not go back.
Fist of all, let me say this, I travel alot and this hotel by far was one of the most Custer service driven hotels I've been to. From the front desk clerk down to the housekeepers! This one housekeeper in particular, I think her name is Kanecia.she was amazing! I requested quite a few items for my room and she had the best attitude with a smile to compliment! She was amazing and very personable! The breakfast was also good! Everything was basically in walking distance for me. I give this hotel a 5 star rating! Rooms were immaculate! I will definitely be back! Thank you Hampton Inn team and a special thanks to kanecia! Thanks for all you do!
Great place, had to bunker down with a puppy and a newborn somewhere for a week and it surpassed all my expectations. Room was clean, location was amazing (EVERYTHING is 5 mins away). Biggest highlights were the management and staff, and the breakfast. They were incredibly accommodating to our needs and hardships. The breakfast, for being continental and managed by a single staffer was incredibly impressive. Will be my go to whenever I visit Abilene.
Wonderful friendly staff. Great location.
Definitely be staying here again when needed. Pet friendly. Indoor pool. Very clean.
Great location however individual that checked me in and was on duty each time I needed to interact was very rude. I have traveled a great deal in the past and am in the rewards program. Most Hilton properties are AMAZING at recognizing that. NOT at this property! The room was ok. This location should start to work on some renovations and provide their desk staff customer service training.
Overall it was a fine Hotel experience. My room was in need of a bit of an update based upon other Hampton Inn properties of State at recently but it was well maintained and cleaned. The location is fine because you have lots of restaurant options nearby. My experience with the service was mixed.
Hampton's use to be nice. This one shows its age. Still nice but not the quality it use to be. I believe it could use some remodeling to bring it up to modern times. Wish the entry would open up into the dining area.
As mentioned by others. The rooms need updating. The floor was sticky in our room. There is no laundry room at this location. The staff, though, is wonderful. And the location is awesome.
Fire alarm went off at 4 am. Gym equipment broke. Room rate fluctuat ed. Bed was hard
Breakfast was good. Room was clean.
For $170 a night. This hotel is not worth it. I asked for a different room because it was dirty and was told there wasn't another room available. It was late, cloae to midnight, when the wife and our newborn had checked-in. We had been driving all day and figured we would make it work by the time we settled in and fell asleep it was about 12: 30am. UNTIL 7am the SMOKE DETECTOR! Started beeping!
Nothing is worse than traveling when you are sick but sometimes things happen. So when I found myself in the lobby looking for something for a nasty cough. I was pleasantly surprised when the night attendant help me find something to help me rest and made me lemon honey tea. It was this addition to the already great service that put our stay over the top.
Yes, the rooms could use a refurbishing and updating but they're clean. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are snuggly. It's a great location. Easy to get to with a lot around it.
Parking and stuff. So if you're coming with a U-Haul or large truck this may not be the best stop for you. But you don't know what you're missing with the service that goes above and beyond.
The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The parking is good and the location is close to restaurants and shopping. That brings me to the only real negative, the traffic noise is pretty bad and you can hear it in the room.
THERE IS NO GUEST LAUNDRY IF YOU TRAVEL FOR WORK STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN IN ABILENE!
THEIR RESPONCE IS DONT EXPECT TO GET WHAT YOU GET FROM A HAMPTON INN OTHER THAN THE SAME SIGN!
The room did not smell "nice". Also when we were checking out we were advised to drop our key card into a basket. When I checked my bank on Sunday, I saw an additional room charge for 249.83. The charge cleared my bank account. I already prepaid/nonrefundable on 3/13 for 233.82. I called Sunday, and we reassured that I would be refunded, but the amount was different than what came out of my account? I still do not see a refund, even though I was emailed a receipt for one.
Nice quiet room with all the amenities I expected. The complimentary breakfast bar was well stocked.
This hotel was wonderful. The room was very nice and extremely clean. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. The breakfast was wonderful as well.
Great location proximity to food.
Folks behind the desk seemed a little disconnected (not as personable as most locations- I travel & stay exclusively at Hiltons). Maybe because it's small town location? Not sure. I wasn't greeted as an honors member, nor given my bottled water. But oh well. Food smelled amazing each morning (although I was too in a rush to stop and eat) it seems like several ppl take advantage of it. Also it seems like a lot of people stay there. I might try the Hilton garden Inn up the street next time for comparison. But people say it's out dated and while thats true it's not significantly noticeable. There's no smells or outstanding things that are concerning. It's def a Hampton inn level and suffices for travelers (like me) passing through.
