Hampton Inn Austin-North @ I-35 & Hwy 183 reviews
14When I arrived, I parked in the back by the pool. When I got out of my car, I quickly realized the other car in the lot was smoking pot. They quickly shut their car doors. This happened the second day, also. No refrigerator or microwave in my room. They did bring me a refrigerator when I asked. Breakfast was the same everyday. Not very good. I stayed a week for work. I have a feeling several people are living full time in this hotel. I didn’t feel very safe. I will ask my company to find another hotel for our staff.
The staff is really awesome every time I come in for business. Nick is very helpful Hannah's wonderful and so is Amanda they're all great stuff there I stay there all the time you guys doing awesome job
Great experience! They were incredibly nice and accommodating over the phone, and when we needed pens, papers printed, or help moving our stuff they were always happy to help.
Super clean and very friendly. Great breakfast! Plenty of towels! I always try to go to Hampton. They never let me down!
Due to unforeseen circumstance, I had to be in Austin without too much time for planning. As previously I had met the assistant general manager there, Nicholas Gaines, I was able to contact him directly from his business card and he was able to accommodate my stay without too much advance notice for a very competitive price. Although he had some issues with his software when producing the RFID cards for my room, he escorted me to the room directly and then brought the room keys later when the issue was resolved. I very much appreciate his professionalism and hospitality and will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in Austin for a temporal visit.
Such a welcoming and genuinely concerned staff at this location. I felt well-taken care of from checking in to checking out. Clean rooms and comfy bed!
There was no refrigerator in the room, which was both odd for a Hampton, and very disappointing.
An older Hampton, but clean and well ran. Employees are friendly and AC in my room worked great during a very hot and humid visit to town.
I stayed here with my family and mind you we’re a pretty big one.the front desk was so polite and nice! They put me in such good mood.they gave us anything we needed or wanted without hesitation.the little kids enjoyed the pool because it was 5 feet deep while other hotels have max 4 feet.i enjoyed my experience here and i will come again.
A/C problems. The staff very nice about it and helped us move to another room. Don't visit Austin, homeless people everywhere. They were just a few hundred yards from the hotel. When I travel with my family, I want them to feel safer than we did.
The hotel is decent, not really worth the price you're paying. Its definitely middle of the road for the rooms. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The breakfast is alright but nothing special.
Also note that currently (2021) it's right next to construction crews demolishing the highway. I was awoken on a Saturday at 530 am to a demolition charge that shook the building and set off car alarms. Then 30 minutes later they started with the jack hammers and were still going when I left at 11 am.
Too Hard to find. Simply too hard. If you have to book a Hilton in Austin, I would try for another location. I will next time. Nothing wrong with the hotel - the Front Desk attendant was exceptional - and frankly, saved me an hour tryin to find the place.
Its just become surrounded with construction and virtually invisible from the freeway.
I don't feel it's very clean and the TV is broken. Not happy with my stay here. Usually Hampton Inns are much better then this. Perhaps it's because this one is in the' hood.
