Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Southlake TX

Hand and stone is my go to place! Each location operates a bit differently. I've been to the Euless, Irving, and Southlake ones but I'd say Southlake is my favorite due to the extra friendly staff. They also cater to the customer a bit more in some of their fees and such in the membership which I appreciate a ton. I don't have a preference on a specific person to go with there but I've tried random ones and they've all been great. I've done Facials, Swedish Massage, and Hot Stone here and loved it all.

Worth the try if you want some relaxation! They also do a deal for first timers and also couples massages.

She was friendly, polite and genuine. Cared about my needs and helped with
a few suggestions. Very nice and kind!

My fiancé and I have had memberships with this place for well over a year. I became pregnant in August of 2020, started getting monthly, sometimes twice a month, prenatal massages. I'm currently 34 weeks and 4 days. I just found out the massage therapist I have been seeing this entire time is not on the company's approved list to be giving prenatal massages. I've seen other seemingly pregnant women leave appointments with this therapist. His name is Gary and he was scheduled with me for months going unnoticed of not being approved by multiple different employees. This is extremely neglectful by a business that claims they're all about client safety. Thankfully my baby and I have not been harmed by this neglectfulness and we will be reporting the therapist and company. I wanted to warn other potential pregnant clients.

AMAZING massage by Katie! I had a headache when I went in, but her techniques made it disappear. Very well kept and clean location. Highly recommend!

ASK FOR KRISTIN- I came in unable to turn my head fully to the right because of a strained muscle and lots of stress held in my neck. Kristin (with her 20 years of experience) was able to pinpoint the cause of my pain (which wasn’t my neck) and relax the muscles to where I could move my body normally and get increased blood flow to my body. She also was able to tell that I carry stress in my jaw, that I eat on the right side, and that I grind at night. Kristin is incredibly perceptive, instinctual, and knowledgeable, I’m hugely impressed and recommend others to see her IF they are okay with harder pressure- she’s the queen of getting knots out and will go as hard as you’re comfortable with (but I’m sure she could tone it down for others who want a softer massage as well) - thank you Kristin! I’ll be sure and ask for you next time!

I had an amazing experience here yesterday. The staff is very sweet and helpful. The lady that did my facial was absolutely amazing. Not only was she good at her job, but she was also great at making sure I got everything out of the experience. She took great care of me and my skin. I literally already see the biggest difference in my skin. If anyone is wondering about the LED blue light therapy, I 1000% recommend it. It’s the morning after I got this treatment and the redness of my skin and acne spots is noticeably better and my acne spots have shrunk. My massage was absolutely wonderful. She managed to get knots out that I thought would stay with me forever. I felt like I got a new back and was finally able to get a good night’s sleep. Hand and Stone is expensive, but every experience I have had here has been amazing which makes it all worth it.

Very disappointed. I am a member and get good service from Hannah. My sister came from out of town and I scheduled a massage for her, but when we showed up, she was not on the schedule. I had called myself so know that this is a mistake on the receptionist. Leaving a review to make sure this is corrected for future customers.

Like many people during this pandemic I have not even thought about visiting a facility especially those that require close contact.

In their cancelation form, a 30 day notice is required.
Which means, they will charge you one more time if you want to cancel.

I am extremely disappointed that hand and stone has not contacted me by phone about my membership or reminded me of my recurring charges.

I think they should instill an automatic cancellation to your membership if customers aren’t using it.

I find it highly unfair that hand and stone would not give me a call while also not hesitate to take my money.

I sincerely think actions should be taken to correct this issue.

I spoke to their regional manager and requested for a refund which she would not give me.

I don't need 7 packages of their services to use in the future, I need my money back to support my family now.

They will take your money without hesitation, without contacting you.

They've lost my business for life. If they would have been willing to offer me a refund now, I probably would have continued to visit later once the pandemic ended.

Briley, one of the estheticians at this location, is amazing! She spends the necessary time with you and is extremely knowledgeable about skin care and products appropriate for your skin type. Will definitely be back to see her!

My friend and I had a girls staycation close to this location. We were treated with courtesy and kindness. Our massage therapists were amazing! I even purchased a monthly massage because I enjoyed it so much.

Gary did my massage and was very good! Most of the time after a massage, I have a lot of pain the next day - I did not with this one! I will return to see him!

I had my very first facial with Jillian and it was wonderful! I let her know that I’m getting married in two weeks so I wanted to look my best and be super glowy. She knew what to recommend and talked through every step! I left feeling relaxed, fresh faced, and glowy for my big day! Cannot wait to come back.

I called three times after 9 no answer. I know places are busy at opening so I drove all of the way to southlake from Lewisville. I get there no one is up at the front, I call again standing there no answer. I waited about 15 minutes no one came up to the front. I think I will go somewhere else.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The spa was very clean and great care was taken to make sure I was as safe as possible.
The massage was just about perfect except sometimes I noticed a marked difference when she was using her right vs.left hand. The right was definitely dominant and sometimes too much. The left was weaker and trailed off too early. Other times she seemed to compensate with more pressure than normal.

I scheduled a classic facial with microdermabrasion and Briley Davis was my esthetician. She was fabulous! She was really knowledgeable and suggested a different treatment that would be better for my skin. She gave me insight on products I need to add to my skin care routine and shared a great app that can help me find cleaner more organic products. I'll definitely be back!
