This place is awesome Nicholas the young owner is such a great person. The very best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life must!

Every time…it’s delicious! Favorites are the mint chip, coffee chip and the cotton candy (it has chocolate chips in it and it is the most amazing thing I have ever tasted. I didn’t know how to feel when I first had it but now I can’t get enough and order it every time) I always get the 4 scoop sampler and get those 3 flavors above + 1 new flavor each time, this time I got the banana cream pie, it was okay but I feel like it would be better if it just had banana flavor instead of real bananas, you can taste the aging of the real ones and it’s not very pleasant, then again I am a banana pudding without the fresh bananas type of person. I think I’ll try the coconut cream next time! Are there any other flavors that have chocolate chips or chunks? Those seem to be my favorites!

We tried the 4 scoop sampler it’s so worth it! To get to try 4 different flavors for the price is worth it to me! The horchata was spot on & graham central station was amazing! Ice cream is definitely fresh homemade from the texture & taste! I will be back!

Inconsistent portions. Unprofessional staff. Not value for money. Except for a few flavors like Graham station, it’s like any other ice cream you find elsewhere.

They have their own flavors and it's made fresh. I traveled almost an hour for this ice cream and I was not disappointed. You should go about every 3 months to see the new seasonal flavors. One of my favorites is blueberry cobbler and java chip (it's like eating a mocha)

Fresh tasting ice cream and neat cones. We tried Handels on a whim. It’s hidden in a shopping center, and we had not noticed it before. They have the best tasting ice cream with plenty of decadent choices. They even have a dark chocolate, which is my fav. The favorite kid choice was the blue monster; I’ve never seen so many happy blue mouths!

We’ve been to Handel’s twice since they opened, and the ice cream is delicious. The real star of the show is the size and variety of the menu - there are a few dozen different types of ice cream, plus shakes, malts, sundaes, etc. Think of Handels as having the variety of BR, but with higher quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and as attentive as they could be given their inexperience so far. The missing star in this review is because of the sparse decor and seating. Hoping the next time we go there are a few seating options. Everyone stands around inside, blocking the ordering lanes, or stands around just outside the door. Even a few benches would be helpful.

This place is my new go to for ice cream! I was blown away with my favorite flavor, Banana Cream Pie. As a banana pudding fan, I was a bit taken back because this one delivers. They use actual fresh bananas and marshmallow for the cream. And they sure don’t skimp and on their portion sizes. The service is fantastic, Nick was very helpful and broadening my tastes for their many other fantastic flavors. They do not compromise on quality. Do your tastebuds a flavor and treat yourself here.

Handels is a staple in my life, especially flavors like chocolate pecan, Graham central station, and cotton candy! Perfect dog treats too for all pups!

Very fast line. About a five minute wait on a Friday evening.

3 small cups and it was fast. I got the ore-dough and it was really good. Good chunks and creamy ice cream.

About 20 dollars for those three cups and a handle pop.

Good little place and very clean.

There is outdoor seating and some indoor benches and barstools.

Soooo many flavors. It was hard to choose. Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. I got the oreo cheesecake. It was soft and but not as rich and creamy as some of my favorite spots. (Could just be the flavor I got) Nevertheless, still pretty darn good. Would definitely go back.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had a great experience at this location. Lovely staff- always very attentive and professional. I had the vegan mango sorbet and loved it! Will be back.

*** Here's a tip, get the receipt and fill out the short survey to get a BOGO free small scoop coupon -it's worth it- ***

Handel's Ice Cream is delicious and it's that kind of delicious that can justify its pricier cost (~$5 for a small single scoop in 2023). So while we've been enjoying our journey through their vast ice cream options; this place is not peak ice cream bliss.

One problem we see is that Handel's definitely doesn't seem to want you around very long after the sale.

As far as seating goes you have 2 options. Sit on about 3-4 metal benches with no tables in front of you -I have used the counter to place stuff though- or go outside and sit on the wooden benches -which have tables and are thankfully shaded-.

The only other problem we have is the speed of service.

Look, I'm no ice cream expert, but I've scooped ice cream before and I have a pretty good idea of how long it takes to do this kind of work.

So how is it that this place has around 6-7 employees, no drive thru, and even when there are no customers ahead of us and we order 2 small scoops in a cup it seems to take 5-8 minutes to get it?

The wait isn't irritating but it is a little curious to witness when you've got a bunch of employees running around behind the counter but nothing is coming out.

Anyhow, we're fans and I'd recommend that you try it as well (just try to avoid Friday night and the weekend for a better experience).
