Hang Ups Picture Framing and Photo Printing, Cedar Park TX

I dropped A photo off for restoration months ago. Weeks went by with no update and no phone calls. Finally, after waiting months, I reached out to them and they said they couldn’t do the photo restoration (so it took months to tell me you couldn’t do the restoration). I drove down to pick up the photo from dripping Springs and they told me they couldn’t find it right now because they were in the middle of a big project. The owners said that they would mail it to me or drop it off to me because they had photos to deliver in dripping Springs. A couple of weeks went by and nothing arrived, nor did they deliver it. I went to the shop today and finally got the photo back. When I arrived, I spoke to one of the associates and they said the owners are in Las Vegas currently. I managed to get the photo back and a full refund. This company is very flaky and horrible at communication. They will even lie and say they tried calling you yet they didn’t leave a voicemail, nor did I have a missed call from them. I will never return to this shop. Read the other reviews they’re pretty similar. They obviously do not value their customers or their customers time.

Loved my experience with Hang up. Ursula and her husband were very kind and did a great job. I was in a rush to get a few things printed to give to my husband for our anniversary and while the timeframe was short, they did everything to hep me. Totally recommend this place, not only they are very professional but care about their clients as well.

I acquired an amazing painting, arguably the foundational piece of the Punk Rock and Paintbrushes movement. I wanted it protected, but given the punk roots, it needed something splashy and bold too. I didn't want a big box store working on a punk piece, so I found Hang Ups on Google. I loved the interaction with the owner in deciding how to frame the painting with appropriate attitude. The end product was even better than I imagined.

Jason Richardson, I know we are not perfect. You came end of July - now it is Thanksgiving - with 3 images, not negatives, with hardly anything left to work with. Your kids' print turned out nice. What did you take so much time to complain - just asking?

Their communication is nonexistent. We paid for an old photo negative to be restored and printed. I came back multiple times to pick it up and every time the owner says her husband was supposed to do it but didn’t or he did do it but she can’t find it. Each time she confirmed my phone number and said she would call. She will not call. She confirmed my email address every time to send the image, no emails.

If you want QUALITY this is the place to go. I can take something in and tell her who the picture is for, and where the picture will go and my pictures turn out perfect. You can go to a arts and crafts store and get a picture framed cheaper but it is cheaply framed. But that special picture should go to Hang Ups.

Had a great experience getting a couple of animation cells framed at Hang Ups. Ursula and her assistant Megan provided creative and innovative ideas for bringing out the best of the two colorful pieces, and for preserving with the framing the documentation that came with their purchase. The results were fabulous. The animation cells were forgotten in a box for years, but now they feel like family treasures hanging on my wall.

Wow. Had some artwork I bought in Paris framed and I couldn’t be happier. They spent a ton of time with me and had great ideas to make these pictures as special as I’d hoped they would be. So much better than going to a chain store. Take those pictures you’ve been waiting to frame into this shop- you will not be sorry!

I had this 16x20 picture refurbished and surprised my wife today. She was 10 years old in this picture and it was used back in the day for a brochure in Nassau Bay, TX. I was speechless and teary-eyed at how well it turned out. Thank you so much, Hang Ups! You definitely exceeded our expectations!

I wanted to make my custom canvas chalk piece to look like it was made in 17/1800 cathedral style, art framing and Hang Ups did just that and showed me a selection of different styles that could work and didn’t take long to find it. Definitely worth it!

We just moved the the area and I broke a framed degree. They were able to fix the frame and it looks just as lovely as it once did. I will certainly be back.

Ursula is just simply amazing. Brought in a couple of autographed pictures of Earl Campbell and over a dozen of 115 year old railroad passes from my great grandfather. Her recommendations were spot on and her work is perfection. She went the extra mile on the railroad passes and am extremely pleased with her work. Have spent a lot of $$$ over the years framing artwork and her work is exceptional. Highly recommend her work and talent.

This was my first time to visit Hang Ups and it won’t be my last. I went in with one idea and Taylor was a huge help: knowledgeable, a good eye, and great patience and suggestions.

I am pleased with the final product and the price.

If you’ve got something you want nicely framed and you want a locally owned business to do it, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place than Hang Ups.

Before going to hang ups I had never considered tailoring a frame to match the art work it is around. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Highly recommended!

Hands down one of the best shops of its kind. Ursula is a pro, she can do almost anything. If you need something framed, a shadow box, printing, or even photo restoration this is the place to get it done.
