Hank's Crawfish, Houston TX

The fried catfish and red beans and rice were so goooood! My wife had fried shrimp and she said we're Def going back. I agree.

Ok I'm from Louisiana and I can get 18 boiled shrimp a boiled potato and a corn soaked in butter and seasoning and my plate is loaded with jalapeno peppers and the meal is hot, all this for 16 bucks, with our meals the corn and potato cost extra, but even with that the total is still 16 bucks, Hanks offers 9 shrimp with the head on for 13 bucks, when we called Hanks to enquirer about their boiled shrimp there was so much back ground noise we could barely understand that Hanks offers a count of 9 with the head on, not sure if corn or potato comes with the meal or if it's extra, I can tell you this I will wait until I get back home to enjoy my boiled shrimp, heck I'm even considering ordering the 30 count, Hanks is far too expensive for boiled shrimp.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, the flavor on my crab legs was medium & it had some kick.however for 30 dollars for only 2 clusters 1 corn & 1 very small potatoe is way to pricey! No option to purchase jus one cluster either. The service was phenomenal & didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. I loved the decor & fish tank! The sides are very overpriced as well. 5 dollars for mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, red beans & rice.goodness! If the food was cheaper more could be bought!

Food is always excellent, I wish they would keep more Lobster for the Lobster Bisque. The crawfish bisque is good as well. I'm glad Covid didn't close them down like some other restaurants. Service is always on point also.

The server got out orders wrong on 2 things and the order of mussels to way to long to bring out we had to cancel them we waited longer after our main dishes for them not going back

It had been ten years since I was last at Hank's. I was just as impressed with the food the service and the atmosphere.
My wife and I will be going to Hank's any chance we get.

Man man man, I am a SPICE ADDICT and it's my first time eating the food from here and I got to say. MY GOD I almost got their hottest flavor but was told to try the one thats a level underneath and compared to ANY SEAFOOD place I've been to in houston this I'd the BEST. The spice level I got was through the roof but seriously the cajun seasoning was so delicious I couldn't stop eating. Yea it was hot as hell but it was also incredible taste wise so it balanced out. Would I get this same level of spice? Yes but I'd suggest eating slow and having some milk would I suggest this place place anyone over all the other spots I've been to? YES! And the customer service was incredible. Thank you guys

Took literally FOR. EVER to get service an it was terrible. My boyfriend works in the food service industry an I use too. It was ONLY because of that we tried to have a bit of understanding and still tipped 20%. The crawfish was NOT good. My boyfriend is from New Orleans an I lived there for 10yrs. We both agreed that the crawfish tasted like straight garlic and heat. There was nothing Cajun about it.

Food is always amazing and consistent. With service that is always top notch. The owner is friendly and truly takes pride in his establishment and employees. I support local and have been coming here for over 10 years now. Kudos for staying open through all this craziness and feeding our community with a quality and comforting cuisine in a energetic, clean, and well run establishment.

Went here with my family about a week ago to celebrate my birthday and we had a wonderful waitress by the name of Sabrina. We asked for a table of 9 originally and only 8 arrived on time. Maybe 30-45 minutes later my sister and her boyfriend arrived making it 10 people but there was still room. I like to check my surroundings and I noticed the manager was talking to our waiter quite a bit and after everyone showed, our wait let came to say our table can only have 9 people and some people have to go… we were a bit confused since we were spending just around 500 dollars at this establishment and we asked to speak with the manager (SHANTEL) to confirm what she said. When she arrived it was a whole different story and she said she told the waiter to bring another table, which we think she lied because our waitress was doing a perfect job with us. Ohh and my sisters boyfriend that showed up late was going to propose to my sister that day but we couldn’t because of that confusion the manager caused so we just ended up paying and leaving. That isn’t all…. As we were talking outside before we left we see the waiter comes outside an said the manager Shantel sent her home because she didn’t tell her that and caused confusion…. What? We felt bad that she had to go home so we gave her $75 more plus the tip we gave her inside. The manager caused confusion and to cover herself she sent a great waitress home which isn’t ok. Sabrina doesn’t need to work at toxic places when you have managers like this. We will NOT be spending monies here EVER again…. The food was good but the manager is what killed it

Food took forever. Crab legs were way overcooked. Crawfish had little to no seasoning. The fried crab fingers and the margaritas were good.

Waiting on the food an ill update after I get the order. It’s the no mask for me. People cooking with their masked down. Hair net not neat on second thought I’m getting a refund. Didn’t use to be this way. Manager can’t say they are unaware because their all standing here watching. If it’s too hot for you in the kitchen, that’s not the customers fault. Normally spend north of $150, never again. Service was slow. Spend more time talking. Only gave a star because I had to

Last night 5 of us went to celebrate my son's birthday at Hanks on hwy 6 and like always their food is good but the last few times we went service is horrible the servers are really nice but they never come to the table and i had to constantly ask other servers to ask our server to come over to the table. They added gratuity to our check last night with only 5 people when their menu and policy says 6 people. I really don't like gratuity added if it's not the amount of people that policies say and she got a lot less tip because of it. Like I said franks is good but they're not great and there are other crawfish places that have way better food and service so that will probably be our last visit to Frank's. At the bottom of the menu you can clearly see it says gratuity will be added to 6 people.

Watery Alfredo they tried to charge me for extra sauce crayfish and crab are frozen not fresh too many great seafood places in Houston for me to go here again ill pass frozen drinks are not good full of everclear

One of the absolute best crawfish joints I’ve been to the beer was great the ambience was amazing and their lobster bisque was to die for.

I'm allergic to shell fish and I eat here all the time. The menu has plenty of choices. The wait staff is awesome. Chantel is my favorite.

Food tasted good, service was extremely unexceptionable. Several meals listed either unavailable or not served during the week. Wife was very nearly finished with her entire meal, waitress asked if we were ready for our bill, my reply was that I was ready for my dinner. It was another ten minutes or so before I received it.
