Hanover Rice Village reviews
21I toured Hanover Rice village with my cousin and we were greeted by Erin she was fantastic and very knowledgeable she answered all of our questions and concerns that we had.their amenities are amazing and Erin made sure felt at home during our entire tour! I definitely will be back to find my home. ASK FOR ERIN SHES GREATT!
Amazing service! Mo and Trey were ana amazing help when moving all my stuff up to my apartment. The staff is courteous, always available, and quick to act when needed. I love my choice to move in here and they have made the moving situation much less of a hassle.
I recently arrived in Houston and looking for a flat, I met Giovanni Lentini and Mo Mahmood, both Leasing Consultants for Hanover Rice Village.
My experience with them is great from all points of view. They are professionals, and they guided me in choosing the best flat for me.
I really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of Giovanni and Mo. They are always ready to answer any of my questions. I felt followed and supported during all the bureaucratic processes and they gave me a comprehensive explanation of the various technical aspects. I could not be more satisfied. Thank you for your help!
If you're looking for a high quality place to rent an apartment, look no more. You should schedule a showing here as soon as you can. I had a tour with Trey and he was responsive, helpful, friendly and accessible. It makes a huge difference to have high quality people run the place, and can really make or break your experience. Thank you Trey for the amazing experience!
I had a great experience touring with Erin! She was very knowledgeable and made the whole leasing process super easy. The property was beautiful and had great amenities. Overall a wonderful experience!
If you have not been to the Hanover Rice Village take this as your sign! I met with Trey and he was absolutely amazing. The property is beautiful and has fast access to the Fwy which is so convenient for my morning commutes. Definitely recommend this community.
I just wanted to let you know what a great experience I had the other day. I was looking for a new apartment and they exceeded all my expectations. Mo did a great job and was very polite. He sat down and talked to us about every detail and made sure I was well informed.
While the location is great, the number and quantity of roaches is atrocious. I have lived here for the past 6 months and have had to call pest control over 10 times already. After coming home today, I killed 15 live cockroaches. It does not help matters that when you walk through the second floor corridor, roaches are literally everywhere! Apartment complex has been uncaring, callous and rude when responding.
I was blown away by how nice the building is and all the amenities. The location is a plus and the staff is one of the best I had come across by far, specially the property manager Crystal she is amazing! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
My colleagues and I toured with Erin who was very knowledgeable about the community. She was able to highlight the benefits of living at this community and all that it has to offer. She was very warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with her!
I love the location, management, community, and even residents here. Everyone is so nice and kind and living here is really worth it. Crystal and her team are outstanding and very helpful with all questions! No regrets for living here!
I have been living at Hanover Rice Village for a few days and It is definitely aewsome. Everything is great, for instance the gym, the swimming pool and the space in the apartment.
I would like to highlight the attention from the staff, mainly by Erin who helped us since the beginning!
When my wife and I moved to Houston for her PhD in Dance Theory we only toured one place to live in. One of the Leasing Agents, Erin, was very helpful in getting us settled. We've loved living here, and we have plans to renew our lease.
If you live facing West (kelvin dr), multiple loud leaf blowers will wake you up at 7-8 pm on Mondays and won't stop for at least 30 minutes.
-update a few months later: this issue seems to have been fixed since, thanks for whoever took care of it.changed my star rating accordingly.
High praise to the entire staff. Very informative and straight forward. I really appreciated the service from crystal in the front office. She made the whole experience plesant. Would recommend touring and possibly moving to the hanover rice village!
Hanover Rice Village is a beautiful property! Trey was absolutely amazing. He helped me understand everything I needed to know about the property and surrounding area. He was so helpful and made my transition to Houston feel less stressful. Thank you, Trey.
I’ve really enjoyed my time at Hanover so far! Amenities are fantastic, rooms are nice and quiet, and the location is great. Huge shoutout to the wonderful staff here for making my moving process smooth and easy.
Giovanni in particular has helped me a ton since I got here, starting with giving me a great tour. He’s super friendly and always there to answer any questions I have.
I’d totally recommend living at Hanover if you’re thinking about it!
I’ve lived here for 6 months at this time and there is good, bad, and ugly.
Good: location, amenities, and the interior of the apartment are nice. I’ve yet to have any bug issues so that’s always a big plus with apartment living. I do feel that the complex is clean and there isn’t trash laying around. Staff is nice, but I do get the perception that they’re more interested in new business rather than retaining/servicing current residents.
Bad: anytime you call the complex you get a call center. This can be a bit annoying when you really need to talk to someone at the front desk. The new key fob system they implemented over the past month is a nuisance. It’s an attempt to be more secure, but I don’t feel like anything was improved since switching to the new gate/fob system.
Ugly: CAR BREAK INS. This past weekend there were over 100 cars broken into in the parking garage. Mind you this is with a security guard and a gate system at the bottom of the parking garage. It’s amazing how this even happens, but the fact that there is supposed to be a security guard watching the parking garage makes this even more incomprehensible. Management doesn’t want to take any responsibility for this either.
Overall: This is an okay place to live. It definitely could be worse, but for the price it should be much better. Just a recommendation for management, put more cameras in the parking garage besides the ones at the entrance.
Safety concerns: Looks like beautiful resort living, the staff jump to attention wearing their sleek black outfits when one enters the property, hip music playing in the background. But the flashy looks are deceiving, cheap cabinets and even cheaper appliances, poor guest access and no trash pickup. For my nearly $2,600/month rent I have a long hike to the other end of the property to drop trash in the chute. Recycling is in the same area but only on the first floor. Recent changes are making guest access a safety concern and very inconvenient. Guests cannot be buzzed in. You must go down to the main entrance of the garage and escort them up using your own fob to open the gate, drive up to the 6th floor of the garage to park in the sun, then ride back down with them to exit using the fob. This is a safety concern if I'm sick and need someone to bring anything when the office isn't open I'm just stuck. The big glass doors with chrome handles at the main entrance are disgusting, always covered with grime and smudges making me want gloves to touch them.
With all of the available technology instead of having us carry a large fob the size of my car fob everywhere we go on the property, why can't they put all the access into a secure app for my phone? Actually the front gate has been broken for over a month with a security guard sitting out front because of these changes. My concerns are not heard and I find it hard to believe with several hundred people living in this building that no one else is complaining. My unit is quiet, great view, with more than two dozen restaurants and shopping within a 5 minute walk. They almost have it right, and with a few simple changes this could be a great place but right now I am not happy at all. Oh, and with all of the security we still have cars, bicycles etc stolen out of this supposedly secure parking garage. Kids get in the building from the neighborhood and run the halls even getting on the roof with water balloons.
I was in town for 2 days to look at apartments in the area. Without having an appointment, I walked into the office and was immediately greeted by Luke. He made us feel welcomed and like he was genuinely glad we were there.
The community itself has incredible amenities with an enormous resort pool deck, a movie theatre, and several lounges and attached to the first floor of the building are coffee and wine cafes, restaurants, and shopping.
However, Luke was the star of the show. He was very knowledgeable about the community, the apartments, and the resident experience at Hanover Rice Village. He clearly loves the community and his job and it shows. If you are considering visiting, you should definitely request Luke.
