Happy Hills Feed, Alvarado TX

This store has a good selection of product. Some of the staff is good but some of the staff don't want to do anything and have a very unpleasant demeanor.

I have done business with Happy Hills Feed for approximately 3 years at the time of this post. Each time I have come I have been treated with nothing but kindness. This store has equipment and feed for any domestic animal from horses to cattle to chickens and even dogs and cats. They also sell poultry year round and from what I can tell, the birds are treated far better than most chain feed stores. As someone who raises chickens, I know these birds are getting great care until they are purchased by consumers. The staff here are amazing and very respectful. As long as I live in the area I will continue to keep visiting Happy Hills Feed.

Love this place great prices on dog food found the chicken feed a bit pricey but they make it up in friendly people

Employees are so rude I went to buy about 500$ of alfalfa and feed for my horses and had my 5 year old daughter with me that had to use the restroom. I ask if she could use the restroom, for my 5 year old. And he said they did not had restrooms. So you guys have a business and are there all day every day
And you want to tell me you guys don’t have a restroom. Just tell me you don’t want my Mexican daughter to use it. I will not come to this place anymore and will let all my friends know as well.

Very helpful workers and knowledgeable. They helped me find something to get rid of web worms so I can keep my beautiful shade tree healthy.

Ask about electrolytes for cattle she just said we dont know and didnt bother to look -. -

The only place we can find corn free and soy free chicken feed within 100 miles. They had a great variety of garden plants as well.

We moved out this way and have been using this feed store for roughly 9 months. People there are so kind and helpful. My son has the biggest crush on Chelsea who works there and she is always so polite and kind to him, it makes his day to see her. She has also been very helpful for me as a person new to owning a hobby farm. She answers all of my questions and if she doesn't know something she eagerly finds out and informs me of her findings. I have had good interactions with everyone who works there, good group of people and they keep a steady stock at all times.

I love this feed store. The staff treat me kindly. It's a rare thing, that with the prices, I drive a long ways to come.

I stopped in a few days ago for baby chicks. It’s my first time, but the staff were all very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They were very patient and answered all of my questions. Then after paying they loaded my car up for me and told me to call if I had anymore questions. I live 30 minutes away, but they bought themselves a customer for life.

Stopped here due to the over the top reviews of friendly helpful staff and the many reviews that cover they have healthy birds.

Older white lady thats about 5 10 had a brown jacket thats about 150 to 170lbs behind the counter answers questions with "there is signs up" and walks away to me and another customer. I ask 3 times about their birds and the lady would pop off with "Read the sign. There is signs up". There is no sign inside or outside the room. If there had been I'm obviously trying to buy them point it out or help me.

She had no interest in helping or selling. Need some staff that is willing to help and wants to sell. First time in this store and it was not like any other feed store I use. Most feed stores are helpful and want customers. This place clearly doesn't. First impression of this place is I have no intention to return since the staff obviously didn't want us there and we both left with out buying anything.
