For a bill more than $100 the overall experience was bad and sad. They make u feel like they are doing us a favor by serving. Such non friendly service. I felt this way when I did dinner with family a few months back, thought it’s just a one off, but then we went there again yesterday and had the same experience. Definitely not going here again, there are plenty of better options around.

Happy Lamb is by far the best hotpot option in DFW. The service is always amazing (especially with Jennifer), the food is top quality, and the overall experience is unbeatable. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for Mongolian hotpot. The experience is always incredible!

Good food and decent service. They kept giving us food we didn't want and not giving us the food we ordered. They also added a 22% included gratuity on our table of 4 PEOPLE. Ridiculous and stupid if you ask me. Maybe worth it to try one or twice but not recommended to keep coming back.

Hi Katie Wu (comment) the Customer: I knew you, you came the date 7/30 night.and big round table. And the worker very nice to service you. And you asked many times to served your table. You came with your parents and husband. And you talk very loud.the whole restaurant can heard your voice. The worker also explained the policy Table for five will be charge to tips. And showed in the menu. And around your table like groups for seven and six customers they bill also added tips too. We happy dining the restaurant in happy lamb to eating. And you don’t want to pay the whole bill. And you brought the the beers to the store. Without telling the restaurant. Hi you eating the restaurant, you not pay any the tips? Hot pot is a great shareable meal that you can eat as much or as little as you like. It's a fun meal that is great for even the pickiest of eaters. You can split your soup options so that you can have spicy and non-spicy or have an unshared pot for two.

Happy Lamb is a franchise in the U. S, and I have to say that this location has by far the worst management.

We were a party of four, and ordered the first round of all-you-can-eat (out of the 3 rounds). Other than the meat, all other items on the menu was extremely limited in quantity. We thought that, Okay, the portion is a bit small, so let’s order bigger portions for the second round. We ordered 5 dishes of the shrimp, and it came back with four shrimps total! We asked the kitchen, what’s going on? He said, the kitchen determines the amount based on head counts. So, no matter how many dishes we order, we were allowed to have one shrimp per person per round? That’s not all-you-can-eat at all!

For context, to show that I am not exaggerating at all, pictured is 3 orders of seaweed knots and beef tripe, for four people. THREE. ORDERS.not one order. Three.

Absolutely ridiculous of a place, and the worst management I have ever seen in a Chinese restaurant is Dallas. I would rather go to Haidilao next time and spend 2x amount of money and leave feeling stuffed and satisfied.

This is not the fault of the workers!

During my visit I noticed the employees running around especially quickly, trying their best to provide service to a packed venue.

When asked, we were told that there were only two employees working the tables that day and that the back was understaffed as well.

It took almost 45 minutes to get refills and a second order placed, solely because the management felt that two employees was enough to run efficiently.

The owner / manager should close the store or at the very least HEAVILY limit seating when a situation like this arises, rather than trying to operate like everything is okay.

Raise the prices and pay the employees more so that you can hire more staff.

Love this place but recently they changed kitchen close time from 9: 30pm to 8: 50pm, so just be aware. Before I come to the restaurant I called and the receptionist said 9: 30pm is when the kitchen closes. When I arrived to the restaurant they told me they changed the close time to 8: 50pm.

The food is good but buyer be aware about their deceiving business practices; when they provide the with the bill, they automatically add 20% (as the service and food was OK, I didn’t mind the automatically added 20% gratuity), and allowed the customer to check off another 20% of tip.
If your not careful, you will pay more than 40% tip.

This restaurant automatically added tip for ~22% to your bill without disclosuring to customer. When you ask for check, they will added the tip in and ask you to pay tip again on the receipt. SO be very careful! I was told to pay becuase we (four adult) sit on the bigger table with a 3 month baby. When I asked for the receipt before tips, the waitier refused to print it out and told me that the check without tip was not correct. The waiter is very rude and the food quality was not even good. We got the food which is not I originally ordered. I don't mind to pay but I don't feel it is right to being forced to pay without any disclosure.

Went last night with my family, took them almost an hour to get all that we ordered. Not only that they had taken the selection menu from them when they were waiting on me. And left them the all you can eat menu. One server kept forgetting to get us items to the point, that when we finally got everything we were already full from eating the few items they gave us. Not to mention that the server forgot to give me back my credit card due to it closing soon. So now I have to wait till 11 am to go and get it back. Honestly the service has gone bad. Only recommend to go if you have a craving for it.

Easily the best hot pot restaurant, the staff are extremely attentive and kind and are more than happy to help answer any questions. Highly recommend for any family or friend outing.

Service really good! Stuff are all friendly and considerate. Note that if you come too late and near the close time, you will not have buffet, you will just order by plates, which is a little bit more expensive than the buffet price.

Extremely terrible and slow service and they always miss ur item and won’t tell why. The food was not even good. Y’all can try it and y’all will find out why I say that.

Be aware!
They use to be a good place with customer service and taste. After they changed name, everything is so terrible. This is ridiculous. Do not want to ask customer drinks. Do not want to talk about the out of stock food. Do not refill water. Do not asked customer for last round before they close kitchen. People working here seem like they have a very bad day. They're angry with everything questions. This is so terrible. I'm not Chinese, but I can understand clearly what they talk about their customer. If you do not want people heard this just don't talk.
Hello, if you do not want to do this just quit, do not ruin someone business like that.
