Harbor Freight Tools, Killeen TX

I have to give this store credit. I went in knowing what I wanted but just not where the items were. The employees were very helpful in finding things and, when I mentioned a big item we were purchasing, the employees said, "I'll get someone to bring that up front for you. " It was there when we checked out and another employee showed up and offered to bring it out to the car. I don't think I've s had that kind of service at a Harbor Freight before but it absolutely won over my wife. This was a terrific experience and I know that they will see me again soon.

Great place to get your shop supplies and tools. Manager is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Harbor Freight!

Very organized store. More importantly, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They're always eager to help and happy to see you. Always greet you when you walk in and wish you a good day when you leave

Your employee Jing really has a bad attitude. She likes to argue and decline returns or attempt to charge restocking fees despite items being unopened/ unused and inside the return period. Her leadership takes one look at both the item and purchase date and approves the return. Customer service appears to be lacking with this one. She may be better suited in the stock room away from customers. I shop at this location regularly as I live in killeen and travel for work. But sadly, my experience is not a good one when having to make purchases or returns with Jing. It makes me want to shop more out of town than at this location. I am not seeking any credits or anything. I just wish for her to be coached on her opportunities. Maybe advising her that the customer is always right within reason. Or reiterate the store policies so that she better understands them.

As I left a detailed account for my negative experiences at this store location due to Jing, I shall leave the kudos as well. The store manager took 20 minutes out of his day to assist me with hunting down a trailer. The store seemed busy, but he still made time to help me. I felt guilty pulling him away and declined service, but this guy had a willingness to help me. Even tried to locate other stores showing inventory. Another person deserving kudos, Bettina! She always shows a passion for great customer service. Not just good customer service. She asks if everything is found okay. She even inspected an item I was about to purchase and noticed it was missing a part during checkout. Now I won't forget that as it could have caused a headache for me to get home, discover the issue, return to the store, and have Jing argue with me. Bettina will make sure a customer has their reciept, explains why she's asking for a phone number at checkout, and addresses customers as a loved family member.

Because of the two good people on the other side of the scale, I rate as a 2 star.

Found what I was looking for by myself. Floor help not helpful. But cashier was. If you don't want to assist customers, why even be there? A little courtesy goes a long way.

Always have good prices, and I've always been helped with it was needed. I haven't had a bad experience with staff.

Great prices for tools and other things, but prices for toolbox carts are high compared to those on Amazon

Kudos to the cashier Alexis and the support team as well as the readily available and the supervisory personnel who had been prepared to coach in the unfamiliar circumstances that was my transaction

Good products and constant deals. I use their Bauer lineup and they work well for DIY projects around the house.

The manager Matt is the best. He is super friendly and helpful. This is also one of the best stocked harbor freight stores in my area. I have ordered 3 special order tool boxes and they showed up very fast.

Great prices and wide variety iof brands to choose from. If u don't have much money cuz u need to fix your car, they have less expensive tools. Friendly staff and organized store. I like the specials/sales in their ad.

If you shop here you know about the quality of the tools. If you need a specialty tool, it is usually here. The prices are affordable which reflects the quality.

From my experience, many of the items are not for professional everyday use, but for the most part, based on the prices, I shop there regularly. Their Bauer pipe rod is one of the best on the market anywhere.

Best customer service of all the hardware stores all employees actually know where items are in the store.

Don't buy any Hugh dollar items here. They're non-refundable. Good place for cheap hand tools to do a job or two. Also their member club is a bait and switch. They rarely have anything on blue tag, and if they do.you probably don't want it.
