I’ve literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars here. Been coming weekly depending on my orders. Each time we get told something different.
One time we were told to call ahead our wood orders before we come same day. Next we needed to call a business day ahead. I called this morning 8 am and now it’s two business days. This is all in a two weeks span that we are told different policies. I get that you guys are busy, but I’m a consistent customer that spends a lot of money to support my small business.
I will gladly take my money elsewhere since we get conflicting information and can’t have reliable quick wood when we need it.
Home Depot gets my wood cut for me in 30 minutes so it’s upsetting that something I use to be able to pull up to you guys and get real quick, is taking ATLEAST two business days is incredibly disappointing.

In working on a project I came across HLC and found them to be incredibly knowledge about wood; its origin, how it evolves into various patterns, which pieces can be milled well, and valuable advice. Great ongoing and rotating inventory, fast to assist and get your order filled. They maintain the largest dust collection machine I've ever see, it could likely power the Hoover Dam. Their Planner is the size of a freight elevator, yet it could skin a peach without bruising it, but it's really about the people operating the equipment and their expertise. Needless to say these people know wood, if you just want to buy wood, great place. If you like, they can glue it, plane it, and have it bolt-on project ready. This is truly impressive operation.
