Harker Heights Medical Home

Staff was really nice where we went in to ask for information. I will update after my family has an appointment.

My daughter has called for an appointment several times a day for about 4 days now and no one picks up the phone. I have called myself and it rings until it finally reaches a voicemail.
*** Apparently my daughter received a call back from Harker Heights Medical Home, but since she was at work, she missed it. My daughter calls back not even 10 minutes later, and again it rings until it reaches the voicemail. Beyond irritated. ***

So efficient! Between appointments for my kids and myself, I've been here many times. Check-in is quick and appointments start on time. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. My PCM is amazing! (So is her nurse) She goes above and beyond for her patients. The pharmacy also gets you in and out quickly.

I haven't had any problems so far everyone has treated me very well and they try hard to help me understand everything since I don't speak English very well. And my doctor the best

It's close to home but also very busy. It's difficult to get an in-person appointment.

Receptionist Sarah behavior was very rude. Such people are harmful for any company. I would not be coming back. My PCM was nice though.

I love my doctor but this place never answers.

Edit: had to give a 1 star instead of the 4 I left. I just can't with this place

The worst place to visit for your medical needs. They NEVER pick up the phone and are rude when you visit the clinic. Thankfully my kids specialist is at Scott and White so I hardly use this place. I literally had to direct the call to another department to get through to someone. This place is awful! I wonder who we have to report this to so something can be done!

Excellent customer service. A thousand times better than the care I received at the other MTF.

I meant to put in this review weeks ago but it always slipped my mind. Anyhow I just came to say how sweet the nurse who was taking care of my son very professional and sweet, Big Thanks to nurse Karen! I know I picked a great doctors office for my son and husband.

My first visit. Major disappointment. Receptionist arguing loudly on the phone when I walked in. Strike 1. On time for my appt.with no one else in lobby but I still waited 15-20 minutes to be called back. Sat another 10-15 minutes waiting for doc to come in. Strike 2. When doc finally arrived he behaved like a sleepy two-year-old: irritable, fidgety, not listening. Strike 3. Never again.
