I want to thank the Harker Heights police department. My husband and I got home Friday evening, about 6: 45 pm from picking up our son from ABA therapy, we all got down from the car, but our son's door didn't close correctly because the seat belt didn't let the door close (we have a minivan) and we didn't noticed. Saturday morning around 5: 30 AM, I received a call from the police department, saying a police officer wanted to talk to me, I spoke with the officer, and he mentioned that a door from out minivan was open, and that they were right outside. Both my husband I went out, and spoke to them, and we all realized it was the seat belt that was blocking the door from shutting.

I want to thank them because they took the time for this. Something so insignificant compared to everything they have to deal with and they care about my car and our belongings, this means a lot, it truly does. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I wanted to say THANK YOU to the officer that pulled my Son over on 7/13 on Rosewood. He was so patient with my son and guided him through the process. My Son told me the officer noticed he was nervous and asked him if this was his first time getting pulled over (which it was). My Son understood his wrong doing in speeding. And although i wasn't stoked to hear about him getting a ticket I was happy to hear of the compassion this Officer showed my son.
Thank you

Sincerely,
Always worried Mom

Home broken into and robbed. I put in a report and basically pointed out the guy selling my stuff online and nothing came of it.

I just felt compelled to write this “review” but on Sunday 12/15 I was going to PetCo and as I was walking from my car I passed an officer who was coming from the holiday post in the parking lot, headed to PetCo as well. In the parking lot coming out of the store was an older couple carrying a heavy 40+ LBS bag of pet food. The wife was on a scooter because her leg was hurt and the husband had the food thrown over his shoulder. Without a thought the officer walked up to the gentleman and took the food and helped them to their car. Now, I know it’s not much but to me it really made me smile and to let that office know that someone was watching. So thank you to that officer. It’s little things like that, that really mean a lot and even though it was a little act it still warmed my heart. Thanks HHPD!
