You know some of these workers be so mean for no reason, but I must say Vanessa Munoz is an amazing case worker, her professionalism along with the cheerful energy, she dont make you feel bad. If you missed anything she is very polite explaining how to send it in and gives you time. She uses please and thank you. She doesnt treat her clients like they are needy.
That lady needs reconition and should be a trainer for others.

Shout out to Ms Gallentina the port specialist. People was saying she had a attitude problem but nope. I was stalking her yet she was nothing but kind to me. People has to understand these caseworkers are over loaded. Hopefully the state gets them more help. But in the mean time she needs a bonus!

Harris County Housing Authority has really done a great job assisting me and my children with a place to stay. The staff members are very friendly wonderful job with customer service. The case workers are very nice. I have been with them for about two years plus. The time I have been with them any problems that I have had they have been helpful. They even helping me complete paperwork and also assisting me an emergency situation. It was the moments didn’t think I would have anywhere to go and the staff members was there with helping hands. They worked hard and push very hard to make sure my case was done in a timely matter. I can say they did not live me without a place to stay, my caseworker, Ms Gwendolyn is awesome. I have got to know some of the staff worker like Ms Trish and, Ms Maricruz Cruz has been very helpful with me whether it’s an African-American or Latino. Any race it doesn’t matter when you call they are very helpful. And, my caseworker Ms Gwendolyn is awesome when it comes down to understanding your needs, they have been very helpful. Even and different department, like inspection Ms Phylicia she’s there too help you. If you can’t talk with, them they do reply to the emails just have patients. They will work very hard to make sure they accommodate your needs. I see a lot of reviews on here that’s not nice but if you explain to them, they will help you.thanks Harris County Housing authority for helping me and my family.

Staff is very incompetent, they ignore phone calls, lose paperwork, and constantly threaten people telling them they will lose their housing. The whole staff need to be fired.

No one ever picks up the phone or answers emails. I wish there was some way to change things. The housing authority is supposed to play a critical role for the community but they make life hard for residents and landlords. They need new leadership in the organization.

Man what happened what happened to Harris county Housing they used to have the best employees you may have had one out of twenty that was horrible but it's gotten worse they don't return phone calls they don't follow up they don't care and you wonder why they don't like the hard black people ninety-nine percent of the people that work there are black but a lot white people work in the front office come on black people come on get yourselves together you making it bad for everybody and mostly I'll call yourselves Christians I love to know what churches you go to and tell him how you treat people who can't afford expensive rent and a struggling from day-to-day we as black people real quick to tear each other down now help each other make it to the top I don't know what happened to Harris county Housing it's going down since they moved

Can’t never get in touch with anyone but be quick to send termination papers, they lose your paperwork nd will never return your calls.

We fell welcome and support in all the steps, after all the stress I was handling on my shoulders with my little grand son, they care they did, and the act. We are blessed to have all these people that work there not want to mention names.thank you

I just left this place of business delivering a package from Amazon and I was harassed by an employee white female with red hair in pigtails she continuously harassing multiple people in the parking lot she even threatened to have my car towed away while I was still in it I wasn’t even parked in the lot but 5 to 7 minutes flat.and on my way out the lot she walked in front of my car as I was trying to leave as if she wanted me to stop so that she could continue to Harris me.and go do my next delivery… is this the way your company treats people … I am just a delivery driver dropping off packages and this is how I was treated I can only imagine how she treats the people whom come there for business or live there. I will be calling to speak to a manager to ensure this is rectified because that is not how you treat people. If she is supposed to be servicing the community I would hope this is not what type of person really how you treat the community I am very disappointed.

They are very rude, They don’t understand NOTHING you ask them! They are liars They Aren’t Helping At All. Why Do They Even Work There

They barely answer the phones at front fest and getting in contact with a case worker is so difficult to do, I’ve spoken to 4 different people and to me no one seems to know how to help me, and can be very rude and it’s hard not give that energy especially when you give the respect, they need to do better

I just called and the front desk rep has no manners and was very rude she actually chupsss her teeth at me then hang up

Pretty nice place well maintained for the support they give people nice studio apartments and different floor plans.

The caseworkers really could care less if you and your kids loose your housing! It’s very stressful dealing with them! And when they make a mistake they somehow blame it on you!

This people are so rude. Starting with the Security guard to the representative to the case worker. They need to replace all the staff there with good attitude. And respect people and enjoy their job. I don't know why they work there if they don't like their job. If I could give them a zero I would.

I wish I could put minus 100 horrible, they don't answer phone and so many violations I can't see how or who passed this apartment. I told my daughter take pictures and call the health department and call EOC tomorrow!

If I could give them 0 starts I would. It’s rare if you actually get to speak to someone. The case workers barely return phone calls and emails and the portability department is the worst! They know that people are dependent on them to do their jobs & the lack of is mind blowing. This is my first and LAST time I’ll ever do a housing program

I'll have been calling for a week no call back yet they say leave a message they'll get back within 48 hours no call back at all

Very rude. They don’t understand that your livelihood depends soupy on them doing their jobs. They have attitudes when you call with any concerns but they let you know there’s a problem until it’s too late. Then everything is your fault. I just spoke with Kim Nguyen who is my new worker and she is one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken too. They let the authority they have over peoples lives make them feel superior. I just pray they never end up on the other side of the fence cause karma is a you know what!

I've been waiting on something to be done about my case since the middle of 2021. I had to do an appeal in 2019 because my caseworker lied on me and wrongfully terminated me from housing. Durning the appeal the caseworker was caught in a lie, and yes I was reinstated but my caseworker is still my caseworker and nothing was done. It seems they all work together. I've been waiting on the the director to call since Feb 23,2022 numerous call and voice mails, still nothing.housing hasn't paid my landlird in since 2021 with promises to. I'm facing 8,000 and eviction in my rental history. And still no one has reached out, other than my caseworker who is steadily doing foul stuff.this is so fustrating, but GOD is Good.don't ever forget either.wish we could start some kind of petition. UPDATE. This is an update regarding a post less than 3 months ago. After finally speaking to the director of harris county housing (due to me emailing channel 26 and 13 news) I was given a name of an organization & told to come in to sign another move packet with another case manager due to ongoing issues with the one issued to me since 2019 (and by signing the new move packet, it made me responsible (per the landlord) for past rent housing neglected to pay since 2021 $9000 (I paid my half every month) and durning that meeting I was asked to sign papers from 2021 and I refused. Mind you it's 2022. I found a place finally from a Green Sheet listing stating they accept harris cnty hsg and had some of hch tenants there. Upon dropping my voucher off w/ the green sheet clipping 4/19/22, I recieved an email today 4/20 from hch (not the new case worker or any other name listed) I've been denied, mind you they cc me and the old case worker. The lady from the apartments where I applied wasn't even in the email. I emailed the director again plus the supposedly ole case worker and hch (because no name was given) with the information that was in the original packet some how they failed to mention to the ole case worker. I'm homeless now due to having to leave where I'm at by Sunday the 24th, 2022 so they won't file eviction and I'm stuck with a $9000 bill.this is so fustrating and games are still being played. I need help

This place was the most unhelpful if that’s even a word. I went with and elder friend to simple grab a application and instead of them helping they stood on by appointment only with literally no one in the office. No one wants to do their job any more or help anyone, it’s strictly go online and do it yourself basically. So my question is what are they getting paid for. They need more willing workers to help.
