I started at Harter 7 months ago and after trying tons of gyms and fitness classes, Harter is the best. The schedule has lift, hiit and metcon so in one week I can get in a variety of workouts. The workouts are challenging in a good way and all the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and there to help you rise to the challenge. They also incorporate different challenges and events to keep everyone motivated.

Love this place! Been working out here since April so about 9 months, loving the results and has improved my fitness and health tremendously, great work out programs and environment, highly recommend! The HIIT, METCON and LIFT classes are absolutely awesome!

This gym is the best! I am very picky about where I go and usually stay away from group fitness because of pacing and lack of a challenge. Harter Strength does a great job of catering to everyone of all fitness levels in every class. I was able to have multiple break throughs with my strength goals and even hit PRs I haven't hit in a very long while. Highly recommend this place if you have any type of fitness goal and want high quality coaching with an awesome community!

I’ve been consistently attending group fitness classes here for 7 months and I love it! I’ve seen some major changes to my energy levels, and I feel stronger. Cody has a perfect set up with all of the equipment needed to complete a great workout, and the instructors are awesome!

Great workout. Cody and staff are encouraging and ensure that you lifting correctly. The community is great and this is the consistent I’ve ever been working out.

I did some personal training with the owner, Cody, to continue to strengthen an injury after I finished physical therapy. Cody tailored workouts to my needs and gave me lots of insights my PT didn’t. I also attended their group classes and each of the trainers were kind, not super in your face which was a change of pace for most gyms.

When I found Harter Strength and Conditioning I hadn't really worked out in several years and was looking for a trainer who would provide the coaching and accountability I would need to make exercising a sustainable habit once again. I became a personal training client of Cody's and I can now say that, thanks to him, at 43 years old I am possibly in the best shape of my life. This is the real deal.if you come in and workout with him and/or his amazing coaches consistently you will meet all of your goals and more. Cody's dedication to helping his clients achieve their fitness goals is second to none!

Harter Strength and Conditioning in McKinney is a great find! Cody, the owner, has created a top-notch fitness spot that's all about helping you reach your fitness goals. The personal training is excellent. They take the time to get to know you, what motivates and demotivates you and adapt as they go. The time flies by when I'm training there. The facility is spotless and has a super positive and friendly vibe. If you're in McKinney and looking to get fitter, this is your place. Cody and his team will make sure you're well taken care of.

I’ve been personally training with Cody for the past few years, from the Plano location to now the McKinney location, and the results have been amazing. Could not recommend a better place.

The personal trainers, at the McKinney, Texas studio, are very knowledgeable about form, movement and progression. They listen and tailor their sessions and plans to your goals. They are constantly adjusting their methods based on the latest research and incorporate nutrition, mindfulness and sleep into their personal training programs. You will get results!

This place is changing my life! When I first came to class I was a total couch potato and was very intimated by the idea of fitness and worried about embarrassing myself, but Harter has completely changed my perspective. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the coaches always make sure you’re doing the exercises correctly and with good form. They demonstrate every exercise and show variations to fit each person’s needs/goals. They make it fun and accessible to anyone. I feel very fortunate to have such an excellent gym nearby. It’s only been a few months now and I’m already seeing major changes in both my physical and mental well-being. I strongly encourage anyone to give it a try!

I’ve been going here for a couple of months. I read a review below, and I agree this is not Crossfit. Which I feel is essential to call out. The program focuses on your technique and work all your muscle groups so you don’t get injured. I appreciate how Cody stops you mid-workout if you’re not doing the technique correctly. The focus is on long-term, safe, and iterative improvements. I also enjoy its balance between lifting weights and also cardio exercises.

When I started, Cody said, “My definition of fit is you can lift heavy things without hurting your back and run without losing your breath. ” or something along those lines. And I have to say Cody’s delivered on that. Since I’ve been going here, I’ve been in fantastic shape. I’m hitting new PRs every month. I can quickly run a mile.

This is not your typical gym…. It is SO much more. Cody’s knowledge base far exceeds anyone I’ve met. He immediately identified issues that were impacting my mobility. I’ve had chronic back pain for a decade & Cody has me lifting, running and jumping pain FREE. After years of group fitness, this is the closest to personal training you can get while still reaping the benefits of group accountability & fun.

Harter Strength and Conditioning gym in McKinney, TX is an excellent gym that offers top-notch HIIT, high-speed conditioning, and strength training. Having previously started at the Plano location four years ago, I was excited to see that the McKinney location is just as impressive.

From the moment I stepped into the gym, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The gym itself is spacious and well-equipped with weights, and other equipment. The gym experience Cody has created is awesome. If you attend consistently, he has a full program built out to push you past where you thought you could go. He’s helped me prepare for my triathlons and a multitude of other races by building strength and endurance in a great atmosphere. The new gym facility is amazing, too!

Highly recommend, as someone who has been a fitness freak my entire life, Cody will take you to new heights you though not possible. With classes starting in mobility, and proper form, injury prevention is a high priority. This is not Cross Fit, these exercises are planned with goals in mind. Please open a location in Austin, TX. I miss this so much.
