Hartz Chicken Buffet, Texas City TX

The fish is amazing, the first thing i go to. Make sure to eat it with the tartar sauce, you wont regret it. The chicken tenders are also really good. The hot wings are actually pretty bad in my opinion, the rolls are good, mashed potatoes and gravy okay. The jalapenos are so fresh and spicy, i love them!

Cold mashed potatoes covered with warm gravy were not very appetizing my favorite baked chicken was cold. I informed two separate people nothing was accomplished. They did not care. Then one of them ca N e and mixed more mashed potatoes with old ones did not help temperature. Will be long time before going back. You see we were there at a prime dinner time. I wish they would have tried harder. Was always a favorite for me. I saw one girl throw apiece of macaroni on the ledge for trays back into the macaroni and stir it back in. Come on. $23 wasted.

The was fresh and the place was clean and the people working there were great. I met the owners and they were very accommodating and friendly. The food was really good and had plenty of flavor. I will definitely be going back

It's ok. My husband likes the fried catfish. Last time we were there, there was none out, so I asked about it. The employee said it was cooking, but we went the whole visit watching them refill everything, but the catfish. Needless to say my husband was not happy

Buffets are a rare find now a days. This one was a nice find. The buffet was well maintained, stocked, and cleaned. I enjoyed the variety as well. Great job Hartz.

This chicken could have made someone sick. You guys need to be more careful before y'all food poison someone.

I love their chicken strips they're nice and crunchy they're mashed potatoes with white gravy and the corn some of my favorite food loved it

Omg. Service us absolutely the worse.i ordered and after an half hour they give me someone else's food Called to tell them they say just eat it wth

I love this place but I am perplexed that they don't know how to make peach cobbler. Very little peaches and a lot of what seems like raw dough
Also they don't put enough fried chicken out on the buffet and I have to ask them for legs every time I go in

I have not been here in a while because the last time I did the fish was not on point But this time they did not disappoint both the fish and the chicken were hot, fresh, and very tasty. Two thumbs up The customer service is lacking, but that's the case everywhere you go these days

Employee swept the floor picked up trash with dustpan and finished never washed her hands and fixed my order no ma'am asked for my money back and left went to DICKINSON HARTZ CHICKEN AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED ALSO WILL NEVER GO BACK TO TEXAS CITY THIS WAS ON 6/22/2023 be careful where u get food I'm always inside no drive thru
