Harvest Market Woodforest reviews
17The chicken Sandwich and the Burger are super delicious I also loved the sweet potato fries. Nice and big location. Recommended
Great customer service in the bakery. Baker prepared new recipe for my husband when he couldn't find a favorite treat!
Anthony in the restraint area was very helpful pointing me in the right direction for food, left full.
1st experience: I had to place a curbside order and chose here because it was closer than any other store, so I loaded up my sick kids in the car and drove over. The order took 20 minutes and 2 phone calls to the store to get. First phone call ended in a "we'll have it out shortly. " Next phone call was to to the manager. After talking to the manager, I told them that I'd like to cancel my order and to my surprise, suddenly someone delivers the order. Unacceptable for a curbside order with less than 3 bags and definitely with sick kids sitting in the car waiting on what should be a quick process.
2nd experience: I go in for 2 quick items. They only have 1 of the items because half of the store shelves are empty. Not low stock, completely empty. Checkout employee was super nice though.
Great bakery! Sushi is fresh. The grill is a bit pricey. The chicken tender meal came in a small clam shell take out container that looked more like a kids meal. Unfortunately, not a wide selection and prices are more like a convenience store instead of a grocery store. Good if you're just picking up a few things!
Family and I ran up to Harvest Market this afternoon and grabbed some sweet treats and they didn’t disappoint! We picked up the Chocolate Midnight cake and strawberry opera cake amazing!
Place is becoming a ghost town. They needs to open another type of market like a Trader Joe's or something. Even their food quality is going down hill.
I recently visited Harvest Market and was impressed with the quality of their produce. The fruits and vegetables were fresh and looked great. The store was clean and well-organized, which made it easy to find everything I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even better. Overall, I had a great experience at Harvest Market and would definitely recommend it to others. ”
The bakery department at Harvest Market is outstanding. Beautifully decorated cakes at very reasonable prices.
My family really, really misses the bowls (I had the curry) at the former cafe there. Not sure what they serve there now.
I was excited to shop for the first time at Harvest Market. I was surprised to see that very few people were there. The store does carry some good healthy foods on the shelves. The meat department was lacking meats, probably because of the lack of people. The bakery looked very tempting! I was a little disappointed when I saw they were selling expensive furniture in the grocery store. Maybe set up some unique items related to cooking or specialty items. There was only one cashier at checkout and she was not personable at all. My hope is when the shopping plaza opens more stores the people will come and shop there.
Is so amazing being here from NY, I find so many supermarkets around Houston and San Antonio, not counting the surprises I come across Texas. Texas is a great place to live. The staff were very friendly. The food was good and delicious. The atmosphere was amazing with its decorations and all. They have a big area where you can sit and enjoy your day either alone or with friends and family. Pretty nice place to do both shopping and to have a good bite
Excellent service, very delicious food, and the lobster soup is wonderful. Adrian prepared us delicious meat. We will definitely go back.
I love this grocery store. But it seems it's switching to a mainstream type of grocery store. Some of the unique items are starting to disappear. The prices are a bit higher than some of its competitors as well. If I lived closer to this store, I'd stop here more regularly.
Harvest Markest is a refreshing experience to some extent. Except they seem to lack in areas that others deliver. Certain items and culture seem to match, but with that premise, this location tries to deliver Kroger items that Ralphs/Kroger put on a normal shelf, into a nice neat area with a price tag massively above it. They still have this "Mothers Market" vibe to it, but it seemingly fails to deliver with pricing and selection on most items.
My experience was not poor by any means, we shopped and got what we thought was worth it. Although, the experience in comparison to many other stores (chains) was not worth the difference here, particularly due to pricing. This isn't a "toilet paper costs more here moment" either which you will easily find during a Trader Joes experience, I am talking about simply grocery shopping and finding items you want to be excited about. Store felt nice, modern (with a retro touch), but to be a frequent shopper, you're wasting your money; not just on essential items, but for even the groceries your plucking off the shelves. We went there during a decent time and not many employees, no one at the sushi area, etc.as well. I understand the market, staffing, and the likes, although perhaps it becomes time to dive in further to what makes your location something that stands out enough to shop for to make it worthwhile enough to visit, despite perhaps convenience.
Please note, with the above statements, I didn't experience the food court; but this also pairs with many aspects of pricing etc.and is a fantastic feature; unfortunately, many places also have this option and it does become a competitive market. Maybe I can plan a return in the near future to experience a meal and edit my review, but for now, my experience with HM is my experience - so I will review as such.
Went for the first time a few days ago with my daughter as she was getting food for her daughters party. The store is so clean and nice. I don’t usually shop at stores anymore but I want to shop here more with my daughter. It s a nice store!
Nice store. Wish I would've had time to shop. Went in for a quick snack and drink. There were drinks all over the store. More consolidation would have been helpful.
