This is a great family friendly place! I love their burgers and oh my goodness that Hat Creek Sauce!
You can eat inside or outside, bother are comfortable and clean.

Decent for frozen patties
Fries were cold
Buffalo Nuggets were disgusting they had barely any sauce on them and way over cooked
But the shakes were really good

As someone with Celiac disease
Finding places to eat with friends and family is a challenge, but they offer great gluten free options, the food is always good regardless of when you go during the day. The service is always amazing and friendly even late at night closer to the end of business hours. Highly recommend the nuggets as well

Good food. Has a big play area for the kiddos with picnic tables and a few chairs near it to eat at.

Food is good, but I really wish they would bring the family deal back. Also the guy kept messing up everyones orders inside. Maybe needs to work on listening skills or a new guy but it was 4 different orders in a row that wasnt correct. He also didnt apply my military discount after showing him my ID.

I had high hopes this place would be different then run of the mill fast food but even with me being one of the only people in the lobby my fries were cold and my chicken sandwich wasn't fully cooked, i bit right into the cold part of the sandwich and ruined my appetite.

Update: I came back to say that management did an excellent job at rectifying the issue and reassuring me that they don’t tolerate rudeness in any of their restaurants. So we’ll definitely give them another try.

The food was good but the service was a turn off. We ordered a few different combos including a kid’s meal. There are different drink options for the kid’s meal. I wanted to get apple juice for my child. Eliana never asked what kind of drink we wanted and just gave us a cup for a fountain drink. My husband grabbed the cups and began heading to a table but I mentioned to Eliana that we’d actually like an apple juice for the kid’s meal and not a fountain drink. She said that I’d need to buy the apple juice separately since we already touched the cup. I mentioned to her that she never asked me what drink we wanted for the kid’s meal (every restaurant I’ve been to asks and doesn’t assume) and that we didn’t want a fountain drink. She didn’t care and insisted that I needed to buy the apple juice even though it should have come with the meal. That was very poor customer service and we regretted spending our money there.

First time visiting. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the sweet potato fries! Of course they have great burgers but their salad is also wonderful! It took a little longer to get it than expected. The play area is really nice. My six year old and two year old enjoyed it.

I like hat creek and thier food. But after ordering here thru the dive thur, we checked our order and noticed something was wrong with the order, no big deal. I go inside to let them know "hey for some reason, you gave us sweet potato fries when we asked for 1 sweet potato and 1 tatter tot. " This would have been an easy fix. Just take and toss the 1 fry you gave me and give me my tots. The kind employee asked her manager, and the manager told her I have to pay to fix my order that they messed up so

Server was great! Friendly and patient. Fries weren't hot, cheese shredss didn't melt. Burger needed more sauce. Pretzel buns were mid. Outside seating was like a daycare! Kids and screaming, but inside was too cold.

My go to place, love taking my children here. It is one of the last remaining places with a decent playground and the food is great. Love the atmosphere and quality of food here

This place is not good. Probably the worst burger I’ve had since moving to SA 3-years ago. The bun was hard and stale, they failed to remove the tomatoes, instead of regular fries I was given sweet potato fries because apparently they were out of regular fries, the deep fried $7.00 pickles are basically just lightly breaded pickle chips that are soggy, and the burger itself just wasn’t good. My son even commented on how bad it was without me even saying anything about it. The milkshake was good though…

Place used to be good. Now service is super slow, they've forgotten my order several times and they either put something in my burger that I didn't ask for or leave something out. They ALWAYS forget my shakes. Food is good but I won't be going back for a while.

I absolutely love and sometimes crave their KETO BOWL. It is two burger patties covered with cheese on a bed of spinach, then bacon and avocado slices on the top. I have them also add grilled onions.
WONDERFUL with a little happy sauce. I might have to go get one again today.

Look, if you are wanting some dot com burgers that has a kid friendly environment, then stop by. South Texas has some modern winter and spring, it is best time to go. If you have little children just remember that there are big kids playing as well. Good thing Hat Creek provides good lawn chairs. Definitely a must to go back.
