Staff is not very friendly. They harass their customers to pay off the entire amount of their servicing bill. Ridiculous.

Was told that not being able to walk, breathe, or hardly see was not consider an emergency. Would never recommend anyone to go here. Find somewhere else to go.

If I could give this place no star I would. They turned a family member away said it wasn’t a medical emergency. After 2 kids in same household tested positive. I wouldn’t go here if this was the place to be seen by dr. And yes we did have insurance. Dr on duty was rude and unprofessional.

Went in for stomach cramps and was there for only 3 hours and was given medicine that helped the issue. Basically just did few tests and scans.

My issue here is with the billing, was charged over 2500 and that's my portion of the bill. How can you go in for stomach cramps and walk out with over 2k bill. You will be charge from different doctors and other facilities, not just north cypress. You are better off going to urgent care or an actual ER not a standalone ER since they overcharge the heck out of you and your insurance
Ridiculous.

I went there because I wasn’t feeling well and was treated horribly. I wouldn’t recommend going there, even if it was the last ER open.

You couldn't possibly ask for a nicer staff or facility than this. EVERYONE was absolutely kind and courteous.

FIND A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL! These crackhead doctors charged me a grand just to sit on their table and tell me my injury is not an emergency and to go see an orthopedic.

THE WORST PLACE, STAY AWAY FROM HERE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THESE PEOPLE HERE ARE RUDE AND ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH COLLECTING THE CO-PAY THAN ACTUALLY TREATING YOU. THE DOCTOR WAS RUDE AND HAD AN ATTITUDE, THE NURSE WAS RUDE AND HAD ATTITUDE ALSO. THEY ONLY WANT TO SEE PATIENTS THAT HAVE INSURANCE, IF YOU ARE SELF PAY THEY NEGLECT YOU AND REFUSE SERVICE, THEY WILL DIAGNOSE YOU THAT YOU DONT HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY SO THAT YOU LEAVE AND HARRASS YOU ABOUT COLLECTING THE CO-PAY. IF I CAME HERE TODAY IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS NOT FEELING WELL AND TO ME IT WAS AN EMERGENCY. THEY SHOULD PUT A BIG SIGN ON THE FRONT DOOR "NO INSURANCE-DONT BOTHER TO COME IN"

Went today for really bad sunburn all over my body and when I say bad I mean swollen face can’t move skin peeling off after only a couple of hours of it happening puking hurts to breath and all they did was check my vitals listened to my heart and that was it dr shulke didn’t even examine me he did offer iv fluids but since I drove myself and they couldn’t help with the pain I said don’t worry so they sent me home with Tylenol 3 which hasn’t helped at all and the swelling in my face is getting worse.the dr also talked to me like I’m some dumb teenager which really annoyed me but the best part was when I looked down and saw dry blood on the floor DO NOT GO HERE!

The billing department sucks big time. The front desk lady by the name Jacquelin was very rude and incosiderate. Despite me asking how she can bill me $400.00 even after reaching the out of pocket maximum, she kept dodging my question and treated me disrespectfully. Why in the hell would any one pay a co-pay even after meeting the out of pocket max? And yes the ER is in my network.

I am a registered nurse and went there yesterday for 2nd degree burns. I've been there before for my son and a finger laceration and had a great experience. I was very satisfied with my care then. But yesterday, I was brought into the treatment room right away. Dr. Meyers who was the physician that evening was awful. She refused to give pain medication for the excruciating burning pain I was in. They wanted my husband to be there before I could receive any narcotic. I had told my husband to not rush and to go home to clean up the broken glass before coming to the ER, thinking I was in good hands. After an hour there crying in pain I pushed the call light. The paramedic told me they couldn't give me any pain medication if my husband wasn't there. At this point I was furious, in pain and I couldn't hold it in any longer. I said I was dropped off by my neighbor and my husband was on his way from work. I did not drive myself there and I would have told my husband to come straight to the ER, if I couldn't get medication for my pain!

I have never heard such poor excuse for not medicating an adult pt coming into your ER to get help and pain relief! What kind of an ER is this when they see your burns and your shaking and they can tell you are hurting but choose not to medicate you. What was the point of starting an IV? I did not get IV fluids either. Finally, after the call light was answered my legs were burning I asked again when can I get pain medicine. After 10 minutes the nurse came in and gave me ultram, a pain pill, not IV pain medication but a pill that would take longer to work! Of course, I was desperate, the pain was so bad I took it without complaining. It took 45 minutes for me to get some relief but my legs were still burning. I just wanted to go home. They applied medication to my burn and wrapped my legs. I work at Memorial Hermann and should have went to their ER which was a mile down the frwy. I trusted North Cypress ER with their care but they made me suffer the whole time I was treated. How would Dr. Meyers feel if she had the 2nd degree burn and was not given any medication for pain relief? No one should suffer that much pain when I could have been treated for that. This is my review and I hope it doesn't happen to others who decide to go to this ER. The nurse and paramedic were nice but Dr. Meyers needs to work on how to better assess her patients pain level and thier past medical history. I understand people come in and they just want drugs. I don't take any prescription pain medications the only thing I take is advil for minor aches. Never again will I go to this ER on Fry rd or any North Cypress hospital facilities!

Terrible service! NO HELP, but huge bill. On January 1,2017, I had heart rate 125, spent 3 hours and left with heart rate 125.

Fast and friendly service. Was treated respectfully, and got my daughter's arm all fixed up without issue.

If you understand what it means to go to an "ER level" facility, and you have insurance, this is definitely what you want to do if you have a serious situation.
My husband had food catch in his throat one evening and he could breath, but was passing up bile and was really, really trying not to panic. I took him to the local ER and it was PACKED. They were unapologetically rude and once he said he could breath, "but its getting more difficult and my hear rate has tripled, and my blood sugar is reacting" they told us the wait could be a few hours because he could breathe.

We sat down and I located this facility, they told me that is actually very urgent because you can cause your lungs to fill with fluid, and it can trigger a heart attack also - both were later confirmed by his regular doctors. They were waiting on him, with an injection to calm him and loosen his airways and (even though it was scary as hell) already had all the gear to handle this should it escalate.

They were able to keep him sedated (it would not go down or come up) and the staff made calls and arranged to have it removed at a hospital (saving us at least a little).

They even called us to see how it was going, in case his admittance to the hospital was delayed.

Not cheap, and totally worth it.

I've been here before when they diagnosed my pulmonary embolism as muscle pain and just yesterday my mother who has SLE was taken here. I couldn't believe how little info they took about her condition, and how the doctor made a diagnosis based on that little bit of info BEFORE even examining her. NEVER EVER AGAIN, now it's just an extra bill because we're going to have to go to an actual real hospital. They didn't even ask her what medications she's on before prescribing her with more. Thanks Dr. Davis! You need to go back to medical school, man.

Went for scheduled lung CT Scan appointment, the receptionist was not at all friendly. She just handed me patient rights forms with a bunch of legal terms that was very confusing and explained nothing. Waited way past my appointment time with the receiptionist telling me nothing and then was finally greeted by the CT Technion that also was not at all friendly. Overall rude people and service was not at all what I'm accustomed to from other healthcare providers. The good thing is that it is new and has the latest equipment.
