HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball

I went in for a burn on my chest and they were in such a hurry to get me out when I was in so much paint the doctor on call misdiagnosed me and told me I had a first degree burn on my chest and then spent me home but what upset me is the misdiagnosis I got a second opinion from a family doctor and immediately told me it was a second degree burn so I will never trust tomball again.

Although I looked ridiculous covered in oatmeal and baking soda in order to not itch from the allergic reaction I was having to poison ivy they remained very understanding and didn't at least they didn't appear to judge and it was very much appreciated cause I was itching to death and I was in and out and all the better for it thank you Tomball for your care God bless ur triage nurses and nurse practitioners tytytyty

I am sitting here now with my husband, who is scheduled for a colonscopy. We were to be here at 9: 20 & here we are at 11 AM, nearly 2 hrs later, and he is just now being taken back to get prepped. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially when someone has gone without any sort of food for well over 36+ hours and has a splitting headache. The hospital was also supposed to call us on Friday to let us know what time to be here.by 3pm, we had yet to receive a call, so my husband reached out to inquire. They called him back at 4: 15 finally. Had he not called, I don't think they would have bothered.
We are not impressed with this facility, and he will definitely be switching to a different gastroenterologist so we don't have to return to this facility again.

I was with my malita wife in this hospital and they did not have staff who spoke Spanish. I find it very irresponsible not to have an interpreter like in all hospitals in Texas. Take into account that here in Texas the 75% of people are Latinos. That's why I give 1 star

WORST HOSPITAL IVE EVER STEPPED FOOT IN! DO NOT GO HERE. The nurse in the ER was trying to draw my blood and did not know what she was doing, my blood was gushing out of the needle inside of my vien and I was covered in blood! They then proceeded to have me wait 5+ hours in the waiting room although my blood results were done after an hour because the doctor was busy with another patient, RIDICULOUS. Everyone's health matters and we should be attended in a timely manner! This is the worst hospital I've been too. My brother once got surgery here and the surgeon left gauze inside of him and he got a severe infection. My other brother was also admitted here and got very poor treatment from the nurses, they rarely would check up on him even though he had a deadly blood disorder. My grandma also died here on January 2 2022! I hate this hospital, do not go here if you know what's good for you!

I went here several times and they were okay. This last time was the worst. They told me there was nothing they could do for me after EMTs left. They don’t want to help you forreal, unless your half dead or unconscious. It’s a big pay out for them!

PLEASE STOP HERRASSING US! We had our daughter there a year ago and we paid what the charge nurse said our insurance didn't cover, then and there at the hospital. We moved shortly after that and apparently didn't get the letters. After HOUR'S of HCA blaming my insurance and my insurance blaming HCA, we gave up and paid the collections company, now a different collections company is trying to collect on the same bill. What will it take to get you off our back? STOP RUINING OUR LIVES.

My dad went to the ER there for swelling in his face. I'm no Ichthyologist, but when someone comes in for swelling in their face, there's a big problem there. My dad isn't one that goes to the ER unless it is dire. They said he had a headache on his chart (which is wildly inaccurate to the original complaint), that he had some spinal problems (which did not explain the swelling At All) to follow up with ortho, and sent him home with some pain medicine. Did they address his feverishness/chills the day before coming in? Nope. Did they even Mention the swelling that brought him in? Nope. A day later, he was life flighted for angioedema, cellulitis, and went to the emergency OR for intubation. He's currently in the ICU, still sedated, needing 75% O2, as of writing this 5 days later still fighting for his life. And come Monday, I can't get a hold of risk management, patient safety, nothing after a full day of calling around. So, yeah, if you need help and can possibly avoid this place, do that. My dad nearly died because they delayed care and willfully ignored such an obvious problem.

I had a memorable experience in this hospital with the entire team of Dr. Maninder Guram on the day of my colonoscopy. I speak little English and I was afraid I would not understand when they spoke to me, but their patience and good treatment overcame my fears. Team VIP, thank you all.to nathalia to debra to javier, these are the ones I remember but they are all wonderful, thanks to my granddaughter for helping me write this note and very grateful for the dedication and excellent work of the entire team.

This place SUCKS! The treatment my son got here was unprofessional, uncaring and just overall BAD. The drs and nurses are useless. They don’t communicate with us the pts or each other. They’re famous response to any question we had about my sons condition was “ l don’t know”! Whatever we asked either the nurses GI dr. Was they don’t know or”hope he doesn’t die” what kind of answer is that. Please have someone close this place down. They are incompetent and heartless. They’re there for a paycheck. And it shows.

Melanie has numerous certifications due to extensive training. She has an expertise in TMJ and cervicalgia in which she has done a great job in treating me. I highly recommend her.

Ashlee Jessie is a fantastic Physical Therapist. I changed therapist from another company which was with my HMO because I was not making progress. In the short time I have been with Ashlee I have had noticed my progress is far beyond what I was getting.

I really Miss Old Tomball Hospital. You always treated like a family and Now HCA is all about Money, nurses does not care for you, maybe you will find one that she use to be with Tomball Hospital and she really takes care of Patients, nurse case manager is worst than nurses I came cross talking to Susan and not help full if it was up to her she would through or discharge my Mom regardless of her Pain, luckily doctor came to check on my mom and told her she can stay at least for 3 days if your head of department is not for patients then why would Nurses will care for patients.

Phlebotomist Danielle is professional, personable and made the experience very nice for this needle phobic girl. Quinn runs the check in is such a friendly and efficient way.

The entire team in the emergency unit was absolutely amazing. Very kind, empathetic, helpful and caring. My visit was not planned, obviously but, I am happy and alive because this team took care of me!

The once beloved Tomball Hospital is now a ghost town with few employees or patients around. The sleep lab used their ER to admit and no one in ER knew what was going for PM or AM shifts. They temporarily lost a 91 yr old patient. I truly miss Tomball Regional Hospital and days of old. They diligently saved my husband’s life several times. I will not be going back now.

Excellent staff and treatment. I was on the 7th floor to be induced and from the reception to the person who did the cleaning they were very very kind and accommodating. The nurses were all wonderful, and their work was impeccable. The magnificent doctor. I recommend this hospital to bring your baby into this world. Very pleased with everything, good hygiene, resources, food, everything was very good. Congratulations to all and thank you for making those days comfortable for me.

95 Percent of the hospital was tip top Save. The minor impractions are not worthless thing. Everybody has a flaw. I do recommend HCA tomball
