Headz Up Barber Shop, Houston TX

If i can give this 0 stars i would none of the Barbers except one was willing to cut my 2 year old son's hair on his birthday but he couldn't cause he was booked, but 3 other babers we're open and wouldn't bother greeting me, highly wouldn't recommend this place, horrible business should be ashame to call yourself Barbers.

The barbershop is well set up and has talented barbers. Ask of Melvin. He’s one of the best in the shop and you won’t be disappointed. He always get me right

If you go ask for Mel he’s very attentive, patient, will make you feel comfortable & works very well with kids. 10/10 highly recommended!

I’ve been cutting my hair at this barbershop with Melvin (known as Mel) for over a year now. Apart of Mel being a great barber, he is respectful, and very responsive. Nevertheless, as long as I live in Houston, I won’t be cutting with anybody else. Go to this barbershop and ask for him, you won’t be disappointed.

I am definitely recommending this spot to anyone looking for a great barber shop. Staff is very experience and welcoming especially Melvin who is by far my favorite (very reliable, kind and always going the extra mile to satisfy your need)

Eric AKA "E" is the best barber I have came across this time around, you can tell him one time what you expect and or want from him and everytime you or your child goes he will remember he is very patient and awesome with kids and he does the right cut the first time around, and if you make a appointment you don't have to wait that long to get in the chair. I definitely recommend him for kids and adults

Someone spoke to me 5 Minures later and told me I was next before taking an hour to cut someone’s hair before I left……

Don’t waste your time if you’re new

Waited for 2 hrs for barber for the barber from previous visit that did good job, but after waiting two hours. I asked another barber to line my beard up ; didn't edge mustache up or clean under my necc. Probably won't be bacc after this

They usually have a line, which is a good sign for a barbershop (means the barbers are good). It's open on Sundays (7 days a week), which is convenient. It's atleast 12 barbers, to include women, and they do hair pieces if you want. I been going there for 5 years and they're legit.

Me and my granddaughter came into the place of business. They ignored us as if we looked like aliens asking for someone to cut my granddaughters hair and this one man came out and said do they have appointment he stated No and the man walked away that was so rude and disrespectful if I need appointment they could have just said so instead of cursing at each other if you go there please make appointment if not they will treat you nasty and rude

Great service, friendly and quick. Accommodated our young son, gave him a great haircut. Cash only.

The 3 times that I've gone into the shop has been amazing. Each time that I've gone it's been to have services done with 3 different barbers. Their services are all right with me and I'll keep continuing to go to them. Check them out they're worth the services that they charge.

For those of you complaining on how the barbers aren’t showing any assistance towards ones that are patienly waiting.it doesn’t hurt to speak up either.i mess wit headz up hard! Particularly, “Lavish”, who doesn’t work there anymore is one HELL of a barber for sure.

Heads Up was a great experience for me, my barber was great. He gave me a very good haircut, conversation was good, and they also talked good basketball. The barber shop was very clean which I liked so much that I drove straight to grab my nephew for his own haircut which he also loved.

Was looking for a barber shop to be open on a Sunday and they was there very reliable took me in as a walk-in got me crispy with the fade go see my boy Bama he going to take care of you

I normally go here to get my haircut by the dude from Alabama but this time when I went dude was not there so I’m waiting on someone to assist me or ask me if I need any type of haircut or anything and nobody said not one word to me. I witness 3 barbers sitting in there chair with no one in them for at least 30-40 min not one time did they even ask if i needed any type of service. I was very displease with the unprofessionalism of this establishment and I will ever spend my hard working money with any place that will treat paying customers this way.
