6I requested a Hearing to appeal a decision that was made based on an error on application. Received a call from this number, susposedly Texas HHSC however the rep wasnt even sure why she called me. She argued with me and ultimately told me we didn't qualify because the monthly income limit for 2 people in Texas in $196. Not a joke! She was serious. I told her I would like to have a hearing and she advised that because the issue is income, I may not get a hearing. My advice. If you are connected to this number, I would not trust a thing they say.
Staff was rude. I was actually at the wrong place and had explained to the lady why I was there.she told me to sit down.very disrespectful. Actually needed the social security office. I sat for over 30 minutes, I was the only customer. Also had my 2 year old autisc grandson. So I'm guessing she has to finish her personal business before answering a simple question that would of saved me time and stress.
It's been months and months it den already turned to a new year and I still have no food stamps my baby's only 7 months I have been struggling to have stuff to eat them months and more I've been calling back to back thru them times and they never answer they phone always put me on hold and the phone hangs up and i think it's purposely so you can come up there but not everyone has transportation all I'm asking as a mom could yall be more helpful and answer the phone more there's more than enough comments that are the same with not answering the phone unless yall really just don't care and 211 doesn't help its a robot talking and none of the options you click will lead u to an operator in anyway yall should call 211 and see what we go thru waiting to speak to an actual human
Very helpful staff and everyone who I had contact with was friendly and kind toward me. Didn't have to wait long and the staff is knowledgeable and proficient.
People are short and rude. Their to the point and out of the office as soon as you get there. I try to to have everything ready so I don't upset anyone. Because they can go from 0 to 100 as far as getting upset.
