The staff was welcoming and seemed genuinely concerned and so very sweet. I got the feeling that they were caring for a family member instead of a complete stranger. They listened to my ailments and did what could be done for me. I would 100% return in the future and I highly recommend the clinic!

I recently visited HealthCARE Express on Richmond Road and I thought to share my experience because it was unlike any other. It was a collection of irresponsible, careless, incompetent, and quite literally helpless efforts from all parties.

I walked in filled out an information form, and in about 20 minutes I was brought into an office. I checked my weight, and a man checked my blood pressure and temperature, and asked me to wait as I will be visited soon. 45 minutes pass, the doctor came in and checked how my lungs sounded. She asked me of my symptoms, which I had a constant cough after dealing with some bodyaches that I no longer had, and she told me I would be taking an x-ray and getting a steroid shot.

Another 45 minutes go by, and another lady came in to take me to the x-ray room. X-ray was quick, then I proceeded back to my room. Another 30-45 minutes pass, (been here for nearly 2 1/2 hours now) and another lady came in to give me a steroid shot. She advised me to wait a few minutes after the shot and I was free to go. After about 5 minutes I walked out of the office to exit and ran into the same nurse. She asked me if I was feeling okay, and told me I was free to go. A little bit baffled, I asked her if I need to pay for the X-ray and the steroid shot. She then goes back to the receptionist desk and they charged me for those two. I probably could have left if I didn't mention it to her. As I walked out of the clinic, it dawned on me that I received absolutely zero instructions or diagnosis from my visit. I then walked back in and asked some questions. "What was the diagnostics and results from the X-ray? " "What is the steroid shot supposed to do exactly? " "Was I prescribed medicine for me to pick up? " "Can I see the X-ray results with some result descriptions? " "Why was NONE of this communicated to me the whole 2 and half I was there? " Receptionist, who seemed a bit overwhelmed, went to the back to ask the nurses questions to fire some answers back at me. She (finally) told me I will have two things to pick up from Walgreens and we decided that you have bronchitis since it's been so long that you've been dealing with this. It was the most unconvincing, unsure, assuming, self-doubting answer I think I have ever received. After hearing their "answers" to my questions, I walked out of the clinic.

I went to Walgreens the next day to pick up my prescription. Apparently they sent only one prescription in and not the second one. So I had to call HealthCARE back to babysit them into re-sending the cough syrup so I can go back and pick it up later. On the phone, the receptionist told me "I remember you from yesterday" after I told her my name and birthday. I really wish I would have made a more lasting and bigger impression so that this experience changes the culture, standard, and expectation that is far too subpar at HealthCARE Express on Richmond Road.

I paid cash for my drug test and they tried to send me a bill in the mail saying I owed them money. I’m glad I kept my receipt!

I so appreciate Sharonda and the entire staff for treating my mom with such care and concern! Maybe the HCE team could teach the medical mafia team at Collom & Carney Westside and Pulmonology clinics what excellence in customer service looks like! Neither cared enough to see her for two weeks! The pneumonia may have taken her out by then! Because she was treated with respect and care, I feel certain she won’t insist on waiting for “her doctors” for future needs.

Go see for yourself, went in for extreme lower back pain. When the wanna be doc came in the room she never even left the door, never once tried to figure out the issue. Asked me what was wrong, I described. She then blamed it on maybe arthritis and told me to go elsewhere. I left with a shot in the hip and the wrong type of inflammatory. Went home and then to Texarkana Emergency Center where they actually cared to correct my problem. Best advice, people avoid Health care express at all cost to your health. Again, doc never even took her hand off the door, basically stuck her head in the room and said a few words. Maybe she was late for brunch, who knows.

I’m glad I decided to try this place. The staff was friendly and efficient and for a work related physical it only took about an hour.
Most definitely will be a return customer.

I think I just wasted $200 on a CT scan that won’t open on my computer nor my doctors. Whatever program they use to burn the CDs will not open. So I just paid $200 for a CT scan that I cannot use and threw my money down the drain. I’ve had 5 other X-rays and an MRI that all opened no problem. This is the very first issue I’ve had. I called and the person who answered just said “ it’s probably your antivirus” which is not a solution. It’s the way they burn the CD and export it not my computer. I’ll update this if there’s any relief but so far $200 down the drain.

Easy to make a same day appointment on line. Easy processing, screening, and assessment of problem. Prescribed meds and sent me on my way. Fast, professional, and above expectations. PA Alex Ayer was the best!

Not feeling well today with a awful cold. I decided to go to Health Care Express on seventh street. I show up 11am went inside to get checked in. I meet the the girl behind the window, her name is Angle I could tell by looking at her she didn't want be there with an attitude but I was nice and polite, no big deal. I went the back got swab for the flu the nurse was polite and said it be 15 minutes for results. I waited for 45 minutes then to decide I would go check and see if could tell me something. I didn't see anybody but Angle so I asked her if she could help with that. She got ugly with me and said that wasn't her problem nor her job. I asked her nicely again to help me cause I wasn't not feeling. I nearly walked out and she said out loud Fine! Then! I never seen someone so unprofessional like that. I kinda wonder if she talks like that to elderly. Mybe someone will look into this. I will never go back to that location. Please leave the extension number for a call back.

Thank you for not calling in my meds or surgeon referral like I was advised would be done and wasn’t. Thanks for the attitude when I called tonight very upset and then given the third degree. I didn’t do anything wrong here. You took my money and never called my stuff in and blamed the pharmacy. Then told me to come back in that I needed to be seen and that’s money I don’t have. Super sick of this. Asked to speak to someone in charge after the young girl I spoke to. Not happy. Wont be back and I’ll tell anyone I know not to come here. How about you employ people that actually want to work and actually like being around people.

Fast and efficient for day after Christmas. Would be at least a week before I could see my regular physician. Was told at first 2 to 3 hour wait but because I made an appointment was out in an hour. Got my prescription done right away too. Thanks healthCare Express.

The ABSOLUTE WORST facility! Eighteen months after visiting this "so-called" healthcare facility, I received YET ANOTHER bill from them for services on 01/22/21. Looking at the bill, my insurance was billed YET AGAIN on 09/22/22. After calling Healthcare Express the idiot I spoke to said that my insurance refiled the claim. Apparently I am so kind of idiot in this person's eyes, because she told me that Healthcare Express did not refile the claim, that my insurance just took it upon themselves to refile the claim. I am PRETTY sure that BCBS of TX doesn't just "refile" claims. Either way, I will NEVER use this facility again due to the lack of competence, customer service, and clearly organization!

Healthcare express for me is a 50/50 experience.
When you’re there the care is great and the staff is amazing.
When you’re told by a provider that if I needed a prescription changed incase insurance doesn’t cover it that they will easily change it for you…… not the case. As being a healthcare worker myself, having to call them 5 times in 24 hours with a 2-3 hour waiting period in between each call is unacceptable. Especially when this flu season is supposed to be bad and it’s already shown it self as being very bad.

We were in town from Georgia visiting family & had an urgent need. Both the front office and the providers were so professional and kind, really helping my son to be the most at ease that he could be in an uncomfortable situation. We are thankful to have had such a great place available to us with this unexpected health event. Thank you so much.

I called in regards to my husband testing positive for Covid, I asked what meds they could prescribe. After a pause, I was told they could offer advice on cough medicine. Okay, this is not only inexcusable, but absolutely appalling and disgusting! The bottom line is - These people don't care about you, they are STILL catering to Big pharma and literally putting lives at risk. It's been over 2 1/2 years since we've been dealing with Covid and these doctors know there are proven meds.that absolutely work! No excuse! None!

No communication between provider and patient. Called for lab results 4 days in a row and requested to speak w provider and still will not contact me. Tests weren’t preformed that provider stated would be. “They are awaiting results” is what I keep being told by receptionist, well I should not be the one who actually reads the report and determines the test was not preformed bc not enough blood was sent, that they assured me was enough.

Went in on Saturday morning with Plurisy, got X-rays, labs, and an EKG. Was pleasantly surprised that I was still out of the clinic in less than 2 hours. Very professional and thorough. Definitely recommend.

Everyone was friendly. Did not wait long. I was diagnosed & given prescriptions to help my problem. I will return again if needed.
