Heart & Vascular Center of North Houston: Jamil Mohsin, MD, Tomball TX

This is review is solely for the receptionists at the front. I was called for an appointment reminder yesterday and confirmed my appointment for 11: 15a this morning. Fast forward to this morning, I read the paper they gave me last visit stating a stress test at 10a then results at 11: 15a but receptionist told 11: 15a for everything which I accepted and confirmed because I took the entire day off. When I saw the paper I immediately called at 10a and the receptionist told me I could still come do everything and she apologized for me being told 11: 15a for what needed to be done today. I then drive 40 minutes from where I reside just for her to tell me I’m going to have to reschedule. Absolutely ridiculous! Dr. Mohsin is great, but his staff needs to get it together. I will be seeking out a different office from now on.

Terrible attention from the receptionist. Rude and vulgar. It's unfortunate that you have people of that ilk who obviously aren't qualified to deal with patients.

Very thorough when it comes to monitoring the health of my cardio vascular system, with preventative diagnostic procedures done on site. This has eased my overall concern pertaining to my general health. I have been able to lower my cholesterol and manage my blood pressure.

My concern here is the staff that answered the phone. Jesse in particular. She has a very rough attitude and no regard for cardiovascular patients. When I called her, I had one goal in mind and that was to give the name of my prescriptions that I needed called in. I specifically asked for Kimberley she told me twice and no Kimberley worked there. I was instructed to ask for Kimberley when I was in the office. She then said. Oh you’re talking oh you’re talking about Kim and I said yes and she said OK hope for Kimberlie she put me on hold for over seven minutes never to come back to the phone. I hung up and called back. She instructed me at that point to hold again, and I said no I can give you the information and she hung up in my face. I called back several times, and she did not answer the phone. It went to voicemail.

Ultimately, I was out of medication for two days and they canceled my appointment because Dr. Mohsin doesn’t see patients on Wednesdays. The appointment was scheduled for me. I didn’t schedule it myself. I got to the office and they told me that it was canceled. And then I was told to just call my medication back into the office and they’ll would send a prescription to the pharmacy I followed Kimberley instructions and that’s what I did. But instead of getting customer service. I received an unpleasant attitudes and unprofessional by Jesse.

Is it me to drive this prompted me to drive back to the office and give my medication list in person, which was ridiculous. I have insurance and a very low co-pay so that’s not the issue. My attitude isn’t the issue my heart is my concern.

Establish my first visit with Dr. Jamil Mohsin on 12/27/22, he was very attentive to listen to my concerns.
His medical assistant was very helpful, as well as his office personnel.

Dr. Muhsin and his staff are wonderful and always very professional with my care. Never have to wait long to see the doctor and they always keep good records of all of my tests and keep up with my needs and health. I appreciate everything they do for me.

Very good doctor surrounded by a friendly and supportive staff.
Highly recommend this clinic.

We are new to the area and we really appreciate the care service we receive at Dr Mohsin’s office.

He really listens to what the patient's needs are. He doesn't over prescribe medication, Which is very important to us.

Dr Moshin is very knowledgeable and he explains everything to you in a way you can understand! The staff is efficient and friendly and the technicians are all very friendly and patient during testing! It makes the visit less stressful! Thank you!

Dr Mohsin literally saves lives.two of which are my family members.grateful for his knowledge and abilities.

These people never called me back after doing a so so job on my varicose veins. I have never been treated so badly by a doctor.

Office staff were very professional and answered my questions. Dr. Mohsin explained what he wanted to check in order to determine treatment.

The office is clean but the front desk secretary is highly unprofessional. Appointments get canceled without notice. I went in for my appointment and sat down for over 30 minutes after checked in with the secretary and waited to find out my appointment was canceled. The secretary laughed at me when i asked why she did not tell me upon my arrival. The Doctor was professional when met him but very stoic. Previously to that. I went to my appointment and the office was closed. It was very disturbing to see a medical professional conducted in such poor manner. I sent ab email to Dr. Mohsin regarding my complaints and he never replied…of course i took my chart and will moving a professional provider.

The Dr is super nice & knowledgeable, but to actually get an appt, it be the correct date, or for them to give you the correct information for appt, is near impossible and very lack luster. I am a new patient, trying to find a cardiologist close to home. I’ve seen the dr once, out of 3 attempts to be scheduled, only to find out not scheduled. Left message for office manager for help, only to never get a returned call. So unorganized and uncaring, I’m not real certain how the reviews below were so good? !
