Dr. Chau is fantastic as are her staff, they are very flexible, knowledgeable, and transparent when it comes to treatment, payment, insurance, and everything in between. Very grateful for them to help me get my teeth fixed up and get my oral health in order. I'm an anxious person when it comes to dental care and they have me much more comfortable with the experience.

First; I hate going to the dentist. Loath going to the dentist. Have nightmares about going to the dentist. I have terrible memories from a younger age, especially the sound of the drill and the smell of burnt tooth.

Update #2:
Dr. Monica Chau is now the doc, and it's still an awesome dentist office! Dr. Chau is wonderful, and so is Pascha, her dental assistant. So here's the biggest thing - I had a root canal, and (I swear) it didn't hurt at all. I mean not a single bit of pain. None. I have been on this planet for more than half a century and have never heard of such a thing. I will always be going back there!

OK, I'll admit that I too thought that the 5 star rating was "padded" or "boosted". I'll admit now that I was completely WRONG! Dr. Burch and his staff were extraordinary. I won't say that I look forward to going to the dentist) but my hate and fear are now pretty much gone. I've found my dentist, and I'm keeping him.

I've been through the normal cleaning and check up, and now through a root canal (my first and hopefully last), another crown, and a filling (it really stinks getting older). Every one of those procedures were incredibly easier than I've had in the past (a crown and fillings). In fact, when Dr. Burch told me the filling was done, I honestly thought he was kidding, because I've never had one that was so easy and quick. So while I'm not looking forward the next, I know I won't mind it.

Lastly, and most importantly, are the wonderful staff Dr. Burch has working with him. Lucy and Tennille (for us old folks, not associated with 'The Captain and. ') were top notch. If you're going through something difficult and undesired, it's nice to have very positive and caring people there to help. Since I'm heading back in a couple of weeks for my permanent crown and some more work (apparently my teeth and body warranty has expired), I'll get the chance to see the doc and his staff again, this time without my normal fear of years gone by.

Update: Second visit to get more work done (apparently fillings put in 40 years ago were not that great). Seriously, my original review probably doesn't say enough how great Dr. Burch and his staff are. If you have to go to the dentist, go here!

I absolutely loved the patient experience in the this office. I am new in the area and so l just did a goggle search and several dental offices pulled up. My spirit lead me to this office. From the moment l walked into the office l felt welcome. I had spoken with Tabitha earlier that morning to confirm my appointment and I recognized the voice when l walked in. She made sure my paperwork was completed and then introduced me to Pascha. She took all my X-rays and pictures of my teeth.she was so gentle and kind, asking me if l was okay throughout the procedure. That is huge in my books because it showed she cared/cares. Dr. Chau and Pascha were amazing; they work so well together. They were engaging, as well as reassuring. They made me feel comfortable and safe in their care. Dr. Chau explained and reviewed all the X-rays and pictures. She stopped periodically to ask if I had questions. Dr. Chau and her crew on 10/24/2023 were phenomenal.

I highly recommend you checking out Hearthstone Dentist. It’s full of joy.

I came with my husband for an emergency session. They were able to book us same day within an hour (Thank you Jessica). The staff is absolutely amazing! They are so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Chau was so inviting and welcoming as well. She had incredible patience, and took the time to explain the procedures and answer any questions we had. I have never felt more comfortable in a doctors office than I did here. I will definitely be scheduling an appointment for myself and I definitely recommend this office! I cannot express or say enough kind words to put into perspective of what we felt. This is the best team of professionals that I have ever come across.

If you hate going to the dentist, Dr. Chau and her staff will change your mind! The numbing was PAINLESS and so were my procedures. Dr. Chau is very good at alleviating “dentist anxiety. ” She is very patient and has let me take breaks when I forget to breathe! Can’t say enough wonderful things about my experiences.

Let me start by saying I am deathly afraid of the dentist. After coming here to get my cleaning I was in love with this place and it’s staff and Dr. Chau. The amount of patience and the time they take to explain procedures is amazing. They take time to get to know you so it’s very easy to become comfortable around the staff and dr. Chau. I recommended this place to everyone I meet it’s amazing! If I could I’d give a million stars!

Sadly, my previous dentist passed away and I was looking for a new dentist that was in-network with my insurance. I was happy to find out that Dr. Jacob Burch's new Hearthstone Dentistry Clinic under direction of Dr. Monica Chau, accepted my insurance!

Dr. Chau and her entire staff are amazing! Everyone is so pleasant, cheerful and professional. I have been going to dentist for over 60 years, and have never met a dentist like Dr. Chau! Her exams are so thorough, and she explains everything clearly. Patiently answering any questions and concerns.

On my first visit, Dr. Chau's thorough exam and x-rays revealed I may need a Root Canal! I had never had a Root Canal and was apprehensive, questioning whether I REALLY needed one! Dr. Chau carefully reviewed the x-rays with me, pointing out why the Root Canal was probably necessary. I appreciated that she did everything possible to avoid the procedure, but she was right! Not only did I need a Root Canal, but my roots were curved instead of straight and calcified, complicating things more.

I was impressed how Dr. Chau meticulously performed the surgery, not rushing but taking her time, and making sure the tooth was properly protected from bacteria, while calcified roots were drilled out and filled. I had minimal discomfort and no swelling afterward, and didn't even need pain medication. Both the temporary and permanent caps fit perfectly, and two weeks later I had forgotten that tooth had a cap, much less a Root Canal! Dr. Chau is very gentle and has what we call in Spanish: "Manos de Oro" ("the Midas Touch")! Also love her excellent "bedside manners, " joking, singing and calming your fears as she drills away! I like how before-and even while she's doing a procedure-she explains what she's doing, why she's doing it, and what you can expect to feel. There is no mystery or unexpected surprises.

My husband hates dentist, but after seeing the good experience I had, he's also changing dentist to Dr. Chau! I don't write many reviews, but when I do, I try to be honest and thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Chau and her entire staff - you won't regret it!
