Very Expensive Food and different prices for different customers. I was told the chitlins in a cup was $35 and it was best for me to get the plate that was $31 because it came with two sides. I washed the old lady in front of me get the big cup of chitterlings and banana pudding for $20. I love my Black people, I really hate the overcharging prices. I could’ve literally had a steak for this amount.this will stop in 2024. The chitterlings were good, but the sides were ice cold.

The place only has 1 table that seats 6 people. I came with 2 other adults and our 3 plates was $86. I had the Ox tails with candied yams, macaroni cheese, cornbread, German butter cake and some drink they just included with the meals idk what it was I asked if it was tea and she said yes but I tasted it and it was some kind of Kool aid punch on crack. The building says they are famous for the cake however it tasted old. The macaroni was watery and bland, cornbread was on point, as were the yams. The oxtail had a nice flavor and a great gravy sauce, however it was like they had taken the leftovers and chopped them up. There were NO bones. I wish I would have had room to try more as they do have a lot of options. The workers were very nice and open.

All I got to say is oh my god I think I'm in love with this place. The food is so good freshly cooked and hot. I wish it was a buffet all-you-can-eat soul food.
I go here everyday to get me a big old plate of that soul food. I recommend this place to everybody to go get you a big plate you will love.

If you love great soul food and a family environment, this is the place to go. This small business is a treat, and we love that the owner is a product of the community. You never know who you might run into. The German butter cake and peach cobbler are no joke, and the sweet tea is a must. Just to name a few entrée favorites, we highly recommend the oxtails, smothered pork chops, pig feet, and meatloaf. The vegetables are really good, with okra being my go-to. We have dined in and gotten food to go. To say we are fans is an understatement.

This food was so amazing and the owner’s politeness and giving was a blessing. She is phenomenal and her food is worth going back for seconds. The food is seasoned very good. We will be returning back.

Accidentally crashed the owner's 60th birthday party but they welcomed us in and fed us anyway. The atmosphere was the most loving and amazing set of people. The food was delicious! We can't wait to come back for a second round. Happy Birthday to the sweetest little lady. Thank you for allowing us to share a special moment in your day.

I just left there from the time you walk through the door the owners make you feel so welcome like you at home the food is excellent I have the oxtails with the greens everything was good I will be back

My first day ever in Houston was made memorable because of my incredible experience at Heavenly Choices. Service is top notch and the food is indeed heavenly. That butter cake changed my life.

Everything was so delicious. The Owner was super, friendly, helpful, caring. She Made everyone feel like family as they walked in. Not only was the food delicious but that German butter cake was so good.

We are going to have to have our family reunion in the parking lot that food was so good. Just bring everybody there to eat and send them home

The food was so good one customer was sitting at the table sleeping with his mouth wide open. I said now that’s good advertisement right there.

Owner came out and greeted me with so much southern hospitality and genuine love.was visiting from Fort worth and she made it feel like home. Definitely going to go back when I come back to Houston.also hope she enjoys her upcoming birthday.

This place is seriously good. Like visiting my Aunt's house! She was so nice, but good lord, that food was good! I ate it all, I'm gonna take a nap now. Also, be careful with the sweet tea! Dangerously good!

The owners are very friendly…. Made me feel at home. Bought a two meat plate, oxtails etc. Food was good but I really enjoyed the cake. Will visit again…
