Hello! India reviews
21 Worst place
Ordered biryani and they communicated it will be ready 20 mins
When i went there they are saying wait for another 40 mins
Totally 1 hour
In evening when we order for tea, even though i specifically asked if tea is ready - they counter people said its ready
When i went to collect it again wait for 30 mins
It happened multiple times now
A Hyderabadi must visit! Best Irani chai in US.if you are a chai lover it’s a must try place. It’s same like the ones that we get back home in hyderabad. Apart from chai i really loved pani puri for a second felt like i’m in india. It’s so fresh. Bonda, dosa and tiffins are good too.
One of the good grocery store in Irving, also you get fresh meats, snacks, tea, and chat items.
Their food quality and tastes are not consistent though! Hope they will able to work on that!
Best tea around in DFW, osmania biscuits or salt biscuits is the one to taste along with the tea, the chat is good too, over all very good.
The best chai in town! Seriously, just like the nukkad chai wala chai!
We had masala, dosa, egg dosa and tikki chaat.all really really good, the best authentic Indian food we have had in DFW area to date. And we have tried a looooooot of places in the last 7 years.
Mainly the iranian tea! It was so cool. Everyone should try it atleast once. One of my friend who lives in arlington suggested to have a cup of tea here, mainly the iranian tea and i did. And i loved it.
Liked the location. Good variety of items. Fresh food and meat.size of store is smaller compared to other Indian stores. I will come again.
We ordered Birthday Cake for our daughter from here and it was one of the best pastries we had in a while. It tasted delicious and the decoration was done elegantly. The service was good and it was delivered on a timely manner.
Ordered a Ras Malai Cake from here for a birthday party. It did not taste like Ras Malai at all. There were 4-5 “ras gulla” kind of pieces and after eating a slice of the cake, it tasted bitter at the end. I believe some ingredient they used in the cake was stale (Confirmed with other guests from the party). Ended up throwing the cake. Don’t recommend.
Two I like
1. Tea
2. Mysore bonda
Rest al zero. Tiny place, poor service, no cleaning. People gather here heavily and too much smoking outside.kids find impossible to stand.
No real queue there just tiny place no social distancing is possible here. Never seen clean and sanitizing on sitting desks.
Cashiers at grocery are rude: I once picked up some veggies and went up to the counter, the lady at counter said her weighing scale was broke. I said Charge something for this and I dont mind! She instead prefer to leave the veggies there and me walkout the store!
Tea is good 7/10 times!
The worst place to accept Uber eats requests from. They were serving people who ordered at the counter with urgency but my to go order took over 40 minutes to make.completely unacceptable. I would’ve canceled the order if I hadn’t already been waiting for so long.
Amazing place! Love the chaat options. We ordered biryani, dahi chaat and pastries. They were all so good and so fresh! The head chef was also really sweet and attentive. Highly recommend this place
I placed to go order for Paneer Butter Masala and they gave non-veg curry. We had to throw the food. This is third time I had bad experience with Hello India Irving.
When it started off it was good. Management was also good. But now Hello India quality and quantity and hospitality all have deteriorated drastically. Today i had ordered for Kebabs and the quantity is not even the price of half plate kebabs in other Indian Restaurants.
The tea is sooo overrated.
I did not like it at all because of how strong it was. There was such less milk and it smelt terrible too.
However, I loved the pani puri and the papdi chaat. Tastes delicious. Nice and warm with mouth watering sauces!
Tried few dishes, Curry Leaf Chicken, Apollo Fish, Mutton Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Samosa, Hariyali Chicken Kebab, Goat Sukka. All dishes were pretty good and will order again.
I felt like one of the bad service ever. Huge delay everytime I order. And also when I ask for the order near the counter only hear 5 mins.
I request management to provide good service and also employees to be respectful with the customers instead of being rude.
Use to be a good resturant, but with time have detoriated quality and service.
We ordered Biriyani and they mixed stale/ unfresh/ Lefover food. It was smelling awful. We had to throw it away. Will never go back.
