Helmwood, Houston TX

I stopped by Helmwood to get some hardwood lumber and was very impressed by their operation and selection. Jason greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very helpful with selecting the best boards for my project. My 6 year old daughter was with me and she also loved seeing all the lumber in different stages of being processed. Their slab selection is fantastic and they have all types of sizes. They can custom mill lumber too so you can get whatever you need from them. Also a great selection of hardwood lumber and I got 8/4 rift sawn white oak for a very fair price. I'm looking forward to going back there for my next project!

It is such a pleasure to go to a small business that has people who are truly passionate about what they do. Very helpful, knowledgeable and just genuine good guy. All the wood slabs are gorgeous and they have such a variety you can really find the perfect piece.
