Dr Hemphill and team are the best. They are responsive, have great customer service and treat you like family. Our first ortho consult he laid out a few different options of care, he definitely listened to our concerns for our son and didn’t push/try to sell us on anything. Kid #1 is done and we have an appointment this week for kid #2.

We restarted our daughter’s treatment when we were told by our previous orthodontist that she was ready to have her braces removed. We didn’t think that her teeth were correct and was looking for another opinion before allowing the previous practice to remove her braces. We were referred to Dr. Hemphill for a second opinion and he agreed that her treatment needed to be restarted. We are so thankful that he took on her case and just over a year later she is finally braces free and has a beautiful smile. He did such an amazing job. He and his staff are professional and very pleasant. With such a positive experience we brought our son there as well. And he is now too braces free with a handsome smile! From the moment we walked through the door, our experience was stellar! We moved from out of state, and both our boys were already in the middle of orthodontic treatment. Dr. Hemphill is honest and knowledgeable, and laid out a new treatment plan for us right away. The office staff is friendly and welcoming, and the facility is clean and well-appointed. Appointments are timely and efficient - we never felt rushed, and all our crazy questions were answered. Our oldest son just finished his treatment and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Our younger son has to wait a while to begin the next phase of his treatment, but he's not anxious about it because he knows he's in good hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hemphill and his wonderful staff!

Dr. Hemphill and his staff were a delight to work with. My daughter needed braces and since my teeth were never straightened as an adult I got braces too. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an orthodontist in the Celina/Prosper or surrounding areas. They care about their patients and are active in the local community.

Accurate, honest, safe, and financially responsible.
These are the top words I would use to describe our experience with Dr. Hemphill and Hemphill Orthodontics. We found Dr. Hemphill through a word-of-mouth referral. My son is 11-years-old and had an overbite that was rapidly becoming severe. We were told that it would lead to jaw surgery; the only alternative being a potential correction via face mask. When we originally were told this news by our in-network orthodontist, they also said that braces were immediately needed and the process would take 2 years. They quoted us a very high cost for treatment which was our out-of-pocket amount plus using 100% of our dental coverage. Additionally, they said my son would need another set of braces once he lost all of his teeth and that would be fully out-of-pocket since all of our coverage had been used. So we sought out another opinion. - And I am SO GLAD that we did!

Dr. Hemphill did a full new examination and consultation. He agreed that the overbite was rapidly becoming severe the face mask was necessary; immediately. However, he recommended to wait on the braces. Dr. Hemphill explained that although the face mask could cause gaps in his teeth for the short-term, my son would indeed require another set of braces once he loses all of his teeth. Instead of up-selling us, Dr. Hemphill explained all the options and let us know that braces immediately would only be helpful if my son was extremely self-conscious about potential gaps. We decided not to do braces but moved forward with the face mask. - The cost to go with Dr. Hemphill (out-of-network for us) was $100 LESS than what the other orthodontist was charging us after using up all of our dental benefit! All of the costs were exactly as they were listed originally for us and there were no added fees, hidden costs, etc.

During the process, there was an issue with the lab and the face mask did not fit. Dr. Hemphill was very honest and immediately apologized for the delay, ordered a new one, and did not charge us anything for the appliance or appointments needed to correct it. The staff was extremely knowledgable, helpful, courteous, and kind. I am never concerned about my son going into the office, even without me sitting in the waiting room. My son wore the mask as Dr. Hemphill instructed and we are DONE only ten months later! And, there are NO GAPS in my son’s teeth. I am so grateful that we did not put my son through unnecessary discomfort and time to do braces when they were absolutely not needed. When it is time to get braces, we will be back at Dr. Hemphill’s! He is the only orthodontist in this entire area that I trust for an accurate and honest review for orthodontia, as he has proven that he will not recommend unnecessary procedures, even when he could make more money doing so. I would most highly recommend!

We love Hemphill Orthodontics! You will not be disappointed. The staff has excellent customer service and they treat you like family. When we first saw Dr. Hemphill we new everything was going to be okay as he took the time explaining everything to us and answered any questions my daughter had. After removing her braces her mouth looks gorgeous. My daughter has a new found confidence and can not stop smiling. We will definitely be back when our other kids needs braces.

Dr. Hemphill provides expert orthodontic information, knowledge, and advice with a calm and genuine demeanor; he takes time to acknowledge and answer questions and responds kindly to concerns. Dr. Hemphill and his staff are pleasant and professional. They make it simple to establish communication and get important questions answered in a timely manner. Too, he and his staff are up for the challenge, whether by phone or in person, of attending to emergencies and are willing to help as soon as they possibly can. I would highly recommend them — the dental work my son received was beyond our expectations. His teeth are now spaced so nicely and evenly. His smile is so handsome, and he has more confidence overall.

I had a wonderful experience here with Dr Hemphill and his staff. I had braces put on for a jaw realignment. I just had them removed after almost 2 years. My jaw is back in line and my teeth look amazing.

The staff could not have been more caring and considerate. They are very thorough and really care about getting you the best treatment.

We have taken all three of our kids to Dr. Hemphill for orthodontic treatment. What drew our family up to Celina from McKinney was how personal he is and how friendly his office staff is. I feel like friend rather than just another patient. One of our kids had a complex case and took a longer time to correct. He stuck with it and kept encouraging her to be patient and trust the process. Last week she completed treatment and the results are beautiful.

Dr. Hemphill and his staff are amazing! We went in for regular braces originally, but halfway through, Dr. Hemphill caught a major problem with my daughters jaw. She ended up needing a Bilateral Jaw Joint replacement. Dr. Hemphill worked closely with her surgeon and 21/2 years later, she has a perfect jaw and perfect teeth! We are so thankful for him and his staff! Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good about these folks! They respond fast to emails and calls, they have lots of scheduling options, they literally have learned my kids’ language! We came for mouthguards and ended up trusting them with braces for all the kids! They have absolutely delivered on every expectation! Positive atmosphere and they really do care about you as a person! Would never go anywhere else!
