HerbMart, Mesquite TX

Usually well stocked with a variety if products. Customer service is great. Clearance items are non refundable/exchangeable. However, this doesn't apply to their other merchandise.

I love this place. Workers are so friendly and helpful and they are so knowledgeable. I get all my vitamins there.

I've been shopping at this store many years while living in the area. I moved 2 years ago and still come here to shop. The staff is friendly, items are stocked and prices are reasonable. I refer people here as well. Herbmart has truly earned a loyal customer!

My mothers go to place for her hard to find supplements. I noticed the oil drops like oregano oil and all is priced below Amazon.

This is the worst store. Don't waste money there. They "black profiled", me everytime I go there. No matter how much money I spend there. No matter how I dress. They treat me like a common thief. I have never, ever stollen anything from any store, nor have those tendencies. I am being watched, pointed at, followed down the halls and monitored like a common criminal. It started with their manager Lee, and now even the black manager is doing it. I have complained and, returned items several times because of it. Now I will not be seen again in this store. My money is not to pay salaries of these kind. There are other stores, in the neighborhood, that don't treat customer's like this.

Nice health food store. Good quality selections. It's also the place where I discovered Bubbie's pickles and sauerkraut!

To whom it may concern,

I shop at your Mesquite store monthly. You carry specific brand items normally that I can only find at your store. I am disabled and I have someone else shop for me. My shopper has always been told that I can call to check stock and prices at any time and in the past every one has been really nice when I've called.  

I called today and spoke with a man and I explained that I needed stock/price check on items and that I would place a pickup order for pickup tomorrow if in stock. He said that the store wasn't crowded, I could come into the store if I wanted. Then he asked for the first item. So I started giving my list.  Four items in he states "I don't mean to be rude, but we are really busy. If you could just come into the store. Pick up is for people who know what they want. " 

I didn't know what to say. So I said fine I'll go to Sprouts and hung up. I have never been treated as I was today. I have no idea what to do or how I'm suppose to shop at your store. I am trying to abide by your rules but how am I to know what is available without asking? I was in tears not knowing what to do. He didn't ask if he could have my list and call me back even. I am flexible and willing to work within what is easiest for you too. I am not going to be treated as I was today though.

I called your store back and asked for the store manager's name and was informed that you have many managers but no general or overall manager. So no one is available to help me then?

I had my mother come into your store today and pick up the few items that I needed only because I was out. I would have purchased the Lily's chocolate that I use but it's $. 50 cheaper at Sprouts this week so I will be purchasing from them through their delivery. I like shopping local stores like yours but when I am treated so rudely I will spend the extra for delivery.  

My mother spoke with a lady today at the register about our experience. She said Lee is the head manager and that she would speak to management.  She was really nice and apologetic.

My consensus today going forward I will not inconvenience your store personnel in any way. If I am not sure if you carry a product, I won't bother you. I will just find an online store or shop at Sprouts for the items. It is just a small amount of items, so you will not even know probably or it won't matter to you anyway. Even though I like to shop local, the treatment today shows apparently you don't want or need my business.

I've been shopping here even before they moved from their Galloway&Town East location to Beltine. The owner&staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable and they carry brands that are sometimes hard to find elsewhere.

My only gripe is that during this Covid19 pandemic order requirement to wear face coverings, it was not being enforced on all of their patrons. Most wore them (myself included) but apparently, those that thought they're above the law or simply selfish and inconsiderate, weren't made to. This is just out of bounds to me. What right does an individual have to potentially spread a lethal virus to someone else just because they don't feel like honoring the law?

Great place to find quality vitamins/herbs and other health food. I have been going there for over 10 years.

Herb Mart is one of my favorite places to go. I wish they were still on Town East and Galloway. I don't get out there as much as I want but they will always have my business.

I am a 52 year old black male been eating healthy and taking natural supplements since I was in my 20s I start shopping at this store when it was on town east every time I go in this store this old white lady always watching me for no reason I shop and read and research what I’m taking I have had enough of these old white ladies watching me. For all the black peoples out there stay out of this store, because you are being watch.

If you can't find it anywhere else you can definitely find it here! The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful!

Love this place! The young people that work here are awesome! They seem to know everything about nutrition and go above and beyond to answer all your questions and help you find what you're looking for. They actually offer help BEFORE you ask lol

I’m so thankful for a local store where we can invest in our families health and keep it local! We’re able to get most of our supplements and also our soaps and cleaning supplies at HerbMart. The staff is always helpful and kind, and the prices are comparable to other big box stores or better. Glad to have this gem in Mesquite!

This place is great but due to the fact that it's a small independent business the prices are quite high. Just have to keep in mind you're supporting small business and instant access when you shop here. They do carry a great selection of quality products.

I love this store! They carry a large assortment of vitamins, essential oils, vegetarian items, hair care, spices, and so much more. Their prices are very good. Also only store in my area to carry Crazy Water! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Good prices on most items. Service is fairly good. I just wish they had an electric cart like other health food stores do since I have difficulty walking more than short distances. I asked 1 staff member about this 1 time and she just humphed at me which I thought was very rude. Otherwise I think it's a good place.

Love this store! Much cheaper than any other store or mail order I know! And the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly!

A great place to get vegan, natural foods, and supplements at an affordable price! Great customer service! It is also a plus that it is in Mesquite!
