Hertz Car Rental, Killeen TX

Robert M. Was beyond helpful in ensuring I still got my rental even with some personal issues. He was my heaven sent.

Good customer service. Although they had a very limited number of rentals available at the time their rentals are clean.

Reserved a car through thrifty (apparently they are part of Hertz), had a 7 passenger minivan reserved however they didn't have it and they gave us a 5 passenger crossover and were no help at all. I had a group of 7 depending on the ride. Customer service also failed me. Will never use thrifty or Hertz again.

Fast and friendly service. Wife and I were in a bind. Needed a temporary car until our car is repaired. Hertz came through for us. Original car wasn't available due to scheduled maintenance but the gentleman found us another vehicle in minutes.

Even with 2 not 1 not reservation they still didnt have a car for me have to wait 7 hrs.and i am out if town

This is a pretty good place. They are very courteous. Only negative I have is the selection or lack thereof. Being on one of the busiest roads in killeen you might have more to choose from. Nevertheless, we've used them in the past, used them today, and will probably use them again in the future.

I've been going to Hertz for the past couple of months now. They always treated me good. The staff is amazing and nice. This is where to go when you need a rental. Also they always send me coupons. Who doesn't like discounts.

I rented a car at the airport in Killeen Texas the car was a 2018 and very nice. But the sale person did not take time to show me where the car was located. And no time to show me how to work the car I didn't know how to start the car. Some from another company has to show me. I was very embarrassed.they when it was time to return the car I couldn't find how to put the gas in. I just happened to touch the gas tank and it came open after about 5mins.bad customer service.

Everything was great the lady that helped me was sweet and understood I was in a hurry. I returned 20 minutes early on the day agreed. The following day I got my email with the amount they were charging it was $170 more then what I was told. They added a late fee because they didn’t check the drop box to see that the keys were returned and so I was also charged for an extra day. I was charged at 62.31 a day and my final price changed to 73.00 a day. Instead of 4 days they charged me for 5. I called to see why and they placed me on hold for well over 15 minutes. I won’t be using them again. Don’t use them unless you have no other choice!

Horrible, they'll make any excuse to keep your deposit. Will never rent from here again, clearly they take advantage of military

Went to get a rental car but called before going and spoke to a gentleman that was very helpful at making my reservation. When i showed up they were a bit busy but igot in and out fairly quickly. They have a great staff here that is realy good from my experience with customer service. I was concerned about the vehicle return because i did not have a way back home but they even offered to take me back at no charge. Im not sure if every rental car place does that. I wouldve given 5 stars but i wasnt told when i got the car that the car was not actually full of gas, it was just full enough to show on the digital screen that it was full. The vehicle read that it had 324 miles left of gas when i picked it up and when i returned it and filled it up with gas it went to 370 miles, meaning i was left when i picked it up without those other 50 miles that couldve helped me on my trip. The vehicle was in really good condition and overall my experience here was really good aside of the small issue with the gas. I am pleased to come back to this location if i ever need to rent a car and i would def recommend my friends or other people to go there. Thanks for a great and easy experience

I usually use Enterprise, but I needed a car rental from an insurance company of the person who hit my car and they only used Hertz. I was pleasantly surprised. They were professional and got me in a car in less than 10 minutes with no hassle at all. Highly recommended.

Manager was rude and unwelcoming. The staff added an additional driver to our vehicle free of cost (very nice) then the manager saw it and told us NO it would be additional 15 dollars a day. No apologies for the miscommunication just its 15 dollars extra. Over all he was very rude and I won't be going back

My insurance company sent me there for a rental and I was not please with the compact car they tried to give me. My insurance company said that I could get a intermediate size vehicle. Not once did they try to offer me something else. They said that was all they had BS. I called my insurance company and had them to switch me to Enterprise. Enterprise picked me up from Hertz and they gave me a Maxima (real nice).
