Hidalgo's Restaurant, San Angelo TX

Very bad food and the flavored waters have no flavor, I would not eat at this place again and I do not recommend it

I’ve ordered and been to Hildagos multiple times and today I ordered a Taco salad to go and found the small wire thing that tie around bags and certain veggies in my salad. Luckily I got it with my fork and didn’t eat it it’s safe to say I will not be returning to this restaurant after this. I called to let them know to check their food the girl who answered said she would let the manager know.

Great food and great service. The Caldo de Res is the best I have ever had. The roast just falls apart.

The guiso is always tender and tasty, and the enchiladas are all good. Nothing beats the sour cream enchiladas with a couple of eggs over easy on top.

The service was fantastic, unfortunately the food was not. We had a party of four and not one of us were pleased with the meal. Highly recommend not ordering the queso (microwaved cheese)

Love the food! Looks are definitely deceiving bcuse the building from the outside could use reno and inside as well but wow amazing food! Dont run away! Its good food

First time in San Angelo and had to eat and feed the kids. Happened to find this restaurant and we were glad we did. Food is very good I had the menudo and I'm picky about menudo but theirs was really good and it's all you can eat to boot! The guiso my hubby had and the chicken breast my son had were also very good. My grandson really enjoyed his nachos and my granddaughter had fries and strips. It was so good. I would recommend this place to anyone if you're ever in San Angelo.

They were all around great! We were a party of 13 and they handled our group excellent. I felt sorry for them regarding some situations but they themselves were awesome and the food was so so so good!

Stopped by to have breakfast. They did not disappoint either. Lots of food and great tastes. The staff was awesome and attentive. I'd come again!

while visiting San Angelo because it was so good! The food was delicious and the people were very nice! We felt like family!
