A cute little park with DFW Surf kayak and stand up board rentals available. You can also bring your own boat.

The picnic area is wooded and shaded with grills at every table.

Please type of people kayaking and swimming.

Entry fee is 20, but you get 15 back if you eave within 2 hours of entry.

This place is amazing, we let staff know we wasn’t going to be in till around midnight, they had their guy keep an eye out for us and he got us checked in, spot was great, quick short walk to lake, if it wasn’t 1600 miles away for us it would be favorite place to go. We will have to settle for once a yr. Please don’t change it

The place is nice but the restroom is.
The second night we couldn't sleep because people screaming so loud during midnight. The rest is great.

Nice place for a lake side trip from the city. About 25 mins drive from Plano. All sort of activities you can do here, we had the kayaking in the morning. Will definitely visiting again.

I tried to rent an obviously vacant cabin just after noon on a Saturday and was told they wouldn’t do same day rentals…. I had this call while staring at 5 (at least) empty cabins… seems to me if that’s how you make money you might want to be more accommodating. I guess my money wasn’t good enough… it’s green and the bank/stores take it…. But they wouldn’t.

We love coming here to swim =) maybe more sand and less hard rocks by the beach area, they kinda hurt.
Will def want to try camping here some time soon!

We like the area and like the fact that there are cabins available to rent. However they keep raising the prices on the cabins. Many of the cabins need work the last one we stayed at would not lock. Also the bathroom door was broken. When you are paying $1000 for a couple of nights thats ridiculous. And the worst part is you always have to call them to get your depsit back. It takes weeks sometimes and multiple calls. I think they just try to see if you remember to ask for your deposit back. With the amount of money they are making they could at least get your deposit back on time.

Beautiful gem of a place nestled along Lewisville Lake. Camping, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, cabins, they got it all. Even a restaurant & bar at the marina.

We came out with family and friends and wanted to have a good time, but found this park is not well maintained. There was trash everywhere, Bathrooms were out of order and were really dirty. On top of that, there’s a $20 fee for each car. This place is not worth the entrance fee. We should’ve read the reviews! Definitely won’t come back and won’t recommend.

Oh how I loved camping here. Hidden Cove is just 16 miles from my house. Living in the city and being able to make a short drive to such a serene, beautiful area is awesome. You don't hear or see anything from the city and can just decompress making memories with friends.

Honestly probably never coming back. I had reserved 2 camp sites for my sons birthday party 2 months in advance. A month before the party I was called to see if I wanted to move the date because they're be hosting a big event, I moved it no problem. Then get called saying they canceled the event. I was upset since I had to send 2 different types of invitations to 10-15 different people 2x. Yet, that wasn't all. When we get there there is beer cans all over the place, the bathrooms are out of order and there is people in our camp site. Including TONS of spiter websites. Also quiet after 10 doesn't mean quiet after 10 it means quiet after 2 am. Also insane amount of poison ivy

First time here last weekend.and thoroughly enjoyed varieties of things in this place. Can't ask for more!
Camping area is clean and nice, and surprisingly insects free, wonderful lake with cool breeze all day long. Very friendly people in the reception. Plenty of people/visitors to the park around to enjoy day time, lonely quiet time at the night, boat rides during the day (bit costly, but worth it). We are already planning our next trip here soon

Tent camping site 25 & especially 27 are the BEST!

Negative side: yep we understand we are camping, but restrooms are uhhhhhhh. OmG.please fix it.so that ateast people can go 1 or 2 bathroom with closed doors, NOT with open doors.lol

I'm still giving 5* because other good things around here gave us a lot. So, enjoy

Hidden cove park and marina is a very well maintained campsite. We thoroughly enjoyed the first half of our day there. However there are a couple of complaints that I think should be mentioned in here. First: when we arrived to camp may 21st 2022, there was a burn ban in affect. No complaint on our end except all of the neighboring campers had firepits burning despite the ban. Around 6 pm a “security guard” approached us to make sure we weren’t burning anything in the fire pit, but instead of asking any other campers the dude just disappears. Our neighbors set up their camp literally 10 feet from our tent and started to burn a fire, and before we knew it we had to start packing up camp because of safety concerns. The wind was very very strong (28 mph) so the burn ban was obviously there for a reason. None of the other campers seemed to have any concern for anybody else around them. I know that the park itself has nothing to do with this, but we also happened to observe young children throwing rocks at baby ducks. Overall this campsite was very promising in the beginning but I’m glad we didn’t stick around because who knows what could’ve happen with the strong wind and the raging fires.

Nice place but it has gotten too expensive. $200 a year or $20 for a day pass. I won't be going back this year. Those prices also apply even if going to the restaurant or just launching a boat.

A very nice and family place! The kids love the swimming in the lake. A very clean and large place for the weekends with grill places to BBQ.
It has a marina and if you are boat lover you will like it too.
Not to far from any side (east, west, north and south side of the metroplex. Do not forget to get you swimming items.

Bad customer service they won't work with you you must know month's in advance exactly how long your staying. No refund policy but they will rent your spot out if need a longer stay you must leave, I couldn't have that so I ended up with a reservation longer than I needed I lost hundreds of dollars because of the no refund policy they just seem greedy.
