I love love love this place. It’s so peaceful, well maintained, well put together and the community is amazing. I’m so happy to have found this gem to call my home and to raise my children.

We have lived here since July and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The rent is fair and the amenities are awesome for what we pay! The office staff is helpful and very friendly but the maintenance staff especially Ralph is very thorough with his work and friendly! Every time we have a work order in they usually come with in 24 hours! Thank you Ralph and the staff!

So many issues within the 3 months i was here. First day I move in and one rooms outlet didn't work for days, bathroom had white paint stuck inside of it. Garage door was broken mutiple times within the 3 months I was living at this horrible apartment. There are more issue like ants everywhere and they wanted to spray chemicals in a home with childen inside the building. And the dishwasher was so dirty and smelly, it had the smell of rotten fish inside. No parking lot because an idiot had there car parked there the whole time and didn't move it once. I got locked out one time and maintains was so bad. They told us to stay outside and call a locksmith when they had to break the door and then was they said there is nothing they can do but there are aleast 4 people on site that could help. Office was closed at 6 and we got locked out exactly 1.5 hours later. I have more to say

Finally, I have time to write down a review. If you are reading this review, do your homework throughly before deciding to move in here. It was my fault for not doing my homework, at that time I was in a rush looking for an apartment that near/close school for my child. The apartment is in good location, close to school and shopping. Other than that I don’t have good thing to say, but a lot of bad things to mention.
First, we arrived late at night from out of state. So we did not go throughly to check the apartment. They gave us a paper to fill out, but did not have enough time as we arrived late Saturday, Sunday office closed. On the paper it said we have to turn in within 24 or 48 hours, I forgot, but I remember I have to turn it in Monday morning. We rent a three bed rooms, when we moved in the outlets did not work, the second bathtubs can not use, because someone decide to switch to all Hot water, the garage is not working properly and they think I’m crazy of keep calling them to fix it. Believe me My husband to called them with angry voice for them to come. Like someone has mentioned, they will not reduce rent or accommodation for you. Also, ants, cockroaches are the problems. I have to tape the outlets so the ant won’t come through the holes. They did not really clean the cabinets, and the dish washer was the worse smell. I did not even use it, after trying to clean them 3x. The Apartment might look nice outside, but oh boy, they did a really bad job painting insides. They will paint over everything and everywhere. You can tell they did so much paint/over layers. You might not even get what they shown you the apartment, because my across neighbor told me they gave her a different one than the one they shown her. The attitude of the manager/ the person who do they papers is not friendly. It is so bad that we have to break a lease and pay two month of rents to leave. So before you signed up, you make sure what you have to your rent, include utilities, trash and other fees they add in. Our plan was to rent for a year and buy a house, but it is so bad that we decide to buy a house instead of living in this apartment. One of the neighbor also told me to look for other apartment down the road, it’s better price and newer. Since I lived there for two months, I can’t count how many people left, and want to leave. Someone also mention about the parking, and yes there this one guy park in a parking and never move they said they will not tow any car. Good luck looking, hope you read this before deciding to rent!

I love living here one of the most safe and secure apartments in stone oak area.
I love how friendly and courteous the leasing office staff is they solve your issues fast and efficiently in short time.
I like that the management is so involved with the community organizing events and and offering goodies to all.
And the maintain staff is very friendly and helpful and courteous and solve your all issues as fast as they can asap thank you highpoint estates for being so awesome

Highpointe Estate has a very good employee. Her name is Amber Alfaro. She is well educated and treat the residents with respect and in an efficient way.

We are so pleased with everything we have experienced thus far at Highpointe. The move in process was easy and facilitated quickly. We love our townhouse and the 2 car garage. Maintenance came to fix our ice maker within 24 hours of the request. Thank you for letting us make this our home.

Been living here a year and had enjoyed all the events the staff puts together. They involve the residents with changes and upcoming events. They are so welcoming and friendly. Great Halloween event!
They are helpful when there have been issues with the apartment. Monica, Amber and maintenance team are ready to address any problems that arise in my unit.

Our kids are enjoying the community. Staff was great making sure any concerns we may have had were taken care of. They just did a haunted house for Halloween with week long of events and the kids loved it. The staff in the office is always helpful and friendly to everyone.

I would not recommend living here unless you are prepared to deal with maintenance issues and greedy management. The floorplans and location of this complex were amazing; however, the management company for this property is doing a poor job.

I am a 23 yr old law school student and do not typically go out of my way to write reviews.

First, our air condition was out for 28 days over the hottest days of the summer. Management provided our three bed room appt.with one portable AC unit during this time and did not reduce rent for this month despite the apartment being unhospitable.

Second, upon moving out, my roommate and I were charged with hundreds of dollars to replace carpet and other random utilities that we had no idea was in need of replacement when we moved in. We wrote down issues on our move in sheet but the apartment complex did not have ours on file and had a blank one for our unit filed instead. Sounds like this was an effort to ensure we pay the damages. We did not damage the carpet nor make the carpet any significantly dirtier during our lease. I believe that we left the carpet and the unit in general in better shape moving out than we found it moving in. We sent in pictures of the move in sheet as well as pictures we took when we moved in to dispute the charges. The appt.complex stated they would send this to corporate but no honest discussion or analysis of the photos were presented to us and the complex did not waiver on the charges.

Third, we had a mold issue in my bathroom. I was sick for a week and went to the hospital for examination because I am allergic to mold. I did not realize mold could be the issue. I put in several maintenance requests to address the mold issue and days went by with no remedy. I had to hire an independent mold inspector to test whether or not mold spores were in the atmosphere in our apartment. It was found that there was mold in our appt. I took the paperwork and test results to the front office where I presented the evidence of mold. It took this much effort to get the complex to come out to clean the mold from our apartment.

When we moved in, there were cabinets missing and dirty spots on the floor around our unit. Additionally, we found a cereal box stuffed under a cabinet in our kitchen. There were also left over groceries in the refrigerator.

It is my opinion that this complex is predicated on maximizing profit while doing as little as possible to providing a fair living environment for their tenants which is unfortunate given the prime location of the complex.

I lived here for a while the first time i have an emergncy and i call them at 11pm.ralph came very fast to help me with everything and he came back in the moring to make sure that everything is ok! & thanks to cordinator of emergency high pointe apartment

EDIT ON 8/7/23:

Now, they’ll tow your car after not providing adequate parking for your vehicles by your apartment. If you find a spot, you’re in for a walk to your unit, and since the gates don’t work, lots of people wandering around at night. Doesn’t seem safe enough to justify the price.

Again, don’t waste your money. Look elsewhere.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
My future mother-in-law and her family live here, and they have had nothing but problems since moving in two months ago.

They first got here, and the AC didn't work. After finally getting that fixed, the oven has been broken since Mid June with no repair yet. They were supposed to bring a replacement this week but they've heard nothing. Their master bedroom ceiling fan and lights don't work, the stairwell light has a short and constantly goes on and off (safe, right?), the garage door makes this god-awful screeching noise when it closes, the ice maker is broken, the dishwasher door and tray is broken, the refrigerator door has no handle, and one of the bathroom sinks still won't drain properly, not to mention the place wasn't cleaned when we helped them move in.

The abundance of issues is ridiculous, not to mention the pool has been dirty every time they try to use it, the fitness center is still closed, and the trash pickup has not been on schedule as it was stated, and even the car wash station does not work at all. Also the post office boxes for mail have been broken into many times, some still with broken locks and doors.

Don't waste your money here, find another place to live. If this keeps up, they probably will too.

If you are trying to live here, please do yourself a favor and read all the reviews. Office never answers their phone, you have to go in person to get anything resolved. Try to record your conversations if possible or get it in writing, you will be told one thing, then next thing you know they will say you were never told that. I’m trying to get another thing resolved in person because no one is answering the phones again, and there is no one in the office even though their hours are posted as opened. Lack of communication and professionalism.
