Hightower Service Inc, Arlington TX

My first interaction with Hightower has been very good. They were very kind and helpful on the phone and the technician that arrived was personable and kind.

This is how I came to choose Hightower: Last year I had a heater inspection performed by a large HVAC company just before winter. They took a lot of pictures and claimed that my heaters would need to be replaced soon and my heat exchangers were near failure. I didn't believe them. But I did have heating issues that winter and began to wonder if there was some merit (not complete) to my previous inspection.

Fast forward to now, and I wanted a second opinion. I searched a lot through reviews and wanted to find someone local with some history and found Hightower. Hightower came out, diagnosed the problem fairly quickly and replaced the part in the same day. I spoke with the technician to educate me uncertain parts of the system and it became apparent that my previous company was trying to manipulate me into buying new stuff.

So I can say this - in my first interaction, I really like these guys. They were honest and took time to educate me. Gave me rules of thumb and all the things that I like to know. I think I have finally found my guys!

They were very quick to respond, so I am thankful for that. The technician fixed the problem. However, price gouging is not acceptable in my book. I pulled the part (Carrier motor module) up on Grainger website, the most expensive one being $730, and they upcharged me $1000! Charging me $1700 just for the part. I also got charged for driving to pick up the part. Unbelievable. A $2000 bill for a $700 part.

Phil our service tech is fantastic and honest guy. He went over things and explained how a previous HVAC company (that was here 2 days before) had done things wrong in attempt to sell me a new compressor.

Phil and the guys at Hightower are definitely the only HVAC company we will be using in the future. They did not try to price gouge me and sell me things they I did not need, like the other company that had come out.

James is a great HVAC technican! Professional, nice, informed, patient, and my dog likes him! He explained the situation with my HVAC in simple to understand terms. James had my system fixed and up and running pronto. Shout out to Tim with the home office as well. I called at 7: 30 am expecting to talk to a machine. Instead Tim picked up within 2 rings and had the order assigned quickly. When was the last time that happened! I do appreciate talking to a human not a machine, no press 1 to leave a voice mail nonsence. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I do appreciate service people wearing a uniform with the company name clearly shown. Quality and professional service. Very pleased!

EXCELLENT! Exactly as good as ever. BACK 5 YEARS AGO.
For some unknown reason, this review just popped up and makes it look like only 3 months ago. Unfortunately, it's been more like 5 YEARS AGO since our last service from Hightower. Albeit, I know from that experience they were still top notch. But again, I have no idea where that random, recent post and review came from. Truly hope they are still that company. BTW, I did meet Mr. Hightower of the 1990's. At that time he had an incredible service manager that never accepted less than perfection out of the service techs. Don't know if family inherited the business since then. But I found him to be very honest and genuine. He and his associates always kept their word.

Excellent A/C company. They don't try to sell you a new unit or add ons. They also do yearly maintenance plans.

They had us taken care of on an after hours call in less than 2 hours after my cal at 830p. We have used Hightower for years. They are wonderful!

Brandon was EXCELLENT! Knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, informative! Would request him to be my go to maintainance service provider in the furture.

Super nice technician even tho he's not a bird person. He would always be welcome back, but then, I've been doing business with Hightower almost since it's inception. Wonderful people you can trust.

Very professional and reasonable cost. They did a great job of explaining everything that needed to be done.

I was having issues with my A/C not cooling fast enough. After calling High tower, James was sent and it could not have been better. He was very knowledgeable and did thorough diagnosis of my A/C. He has a very special skill set in diagnosing and able to explain it to where people can understand exactly whats going on. He knew how work with my older Carrier system I had, which no other tech had explained to me some of things he did about my system. Hightower is so lucky to have him. Thank you Hightower and above all James for offering such first class service.

Always on time, courteous, knowledgeable he is someone you like to have work on your ac. Very courteous and knows what he is doing and explains things so an 88 year old knows what he is doing.

Orbin Ayers came out to my home and arrived on time to do our annual A/C maintenance. He was professional and friendly. His work was exceptional. He was thorough and worked very quietly and professionally. He is defiantly my choice for A/C Technician for my home.
