This light company is the worst! This is like being bound to a life or death contract. Oncor is so much better with a variety of options to choose from. You NEVER know what your bill will be. The fees vary depending on the robbery this company commits. Someone needs to really close this company. The owners should be ashamed of this disgraceful company. You give your customers no choices or good customer service. All while charging an arm and leg. Deposits whenever you want to this is by far the worst. I am about to pay on or a few thousand to be rid of this foolery.

Hilco has always been on time when we have had a power issue. The field technician are polite, efficient and take care not to damage property. We have never had an issue with anyone at Hilco. Thanks so much for great service.

What they are charging customers should be ILLEGAL! How can a light bill, when conserving energy in the heat of summer, be more than a mortgage payment? ! Outrageous! And because it’s a coop we aren’t even able to shop for a better option. We are just stuck paying for the mistakes of the state and government that have failed us with astronomical pcrf charges.

Maybe it’s time to petition or protest outside of their facilities!

This is the worst Electric company ever! They're the only provider, in the area monopolizing the market with extremely high rates lately. We've been living on our home since 2016, and all of sudden we're using almost 3600 to 3700 KW; which is more than 1000 kw from previous years and having $500 to $700 monthly electric bills, at a fluctuating PCRF rate of 14cent per KW. This is insane! Nothing has changed in our home, and half of the time no one is even here. So, I am trying to figure out where is all of the additional usage coming from. But of course, they can't tell you that. SMH. This company is a joke, and profiting greatly off of hard working people.

So happy.the guys that came out walked all the way to a far box and repaired it because it was too muddy to drive, then helped me with the house breaker. Awesome

They are not very good cuz we have been waiting for them to come inspect our new electrical system that they required us to upgrade to because we just got new central air system installed and it pushes to much power so now we are sitting in texas heat for over a month with no air. And its all because they will not come do there job and inspect the new installed electrical system. We have been waiting for them for 2 weeks and they have not come yet.

This electric company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with! They cut us off without giving any kind of notice and made us pay $100 security deposit and a $50 turn off and a $50 turn back on amount. They give no leniency with your power and our Bill is never under $200 a month. I really wish our area would cut them out and make it to where we can have our own company service our electric. Because trust me we would not have this service. Oh and your deposit will be outrageous! Even with good credit. They are definitely a money hungry company!

We called for a power outage tonight to find out your awesome crew was already on our road looking for the problem. What a great Co-op we are part of. Bless you guys.

Have had this company for 8 years and multiple properties in this area and have always been very pleased with service. We feel all the folks at Hilco have gone above and beyond to take care of customers snd keep all of the utilities operating. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Great company. I've been a customer for 15 years and I can only remember 1 power outage that lasted for an extended period of time. Roughly 12 hours.

Worst company yet. I have this electric company Not by choice. I moved and bought this new property. That house that I previously sold has the same square feet same size as the new one. With that being said my electric bill at my new property is always high no matter what. My old properly I had direct energy one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with and my bill was never over $200.00 now I moved to My new property and I have to deal with Hilco electric company which my bill for February is over $400 of 2021 and my current bill for March was over 600.00 this company is a joke and this is when Texas had the bad cold weather and snow they kept rotation out electric my house was still cold and we had busted pipes! The worst electric company ever! Hopefully they get sued!

I am so glad we have Hilo Electric. The service through this freezing spell has been exemplary.

Have been without power all day with it snowing and cannot get through to talk to anyone or try to report the issue. All it gives is a busy tone and hangs up on you.

Power has been out all day. Phone calls not going through all I get is a busy signal and then hung up on. Also no news or eta on when power will be restored.
