Great place! Makala is friendly and very helpful with my hair needs. The place is very clean and I always love my hair cut and color.

Makayla did an amazing balayage on me and gave me some great tips to help my hair grow healthy (even after I used box dye). She is really friendly and easy to talk to, she recommend a balayage after I mentioned I hated the grow out from highlights during one of my trims.

Place is alway clean and staff are welcoming. Their website makes online appointments easy to make so I can pick my person and know I have a spot. Will be back.

So, long story if you care for the details, read to the end, but I want to give praise to Makayla. I came in with DAMAGED hair. She took time to consult over two appointments and provided me with direction, which I then researched and understood she was completely on point with everything she prescribed. After having trust failed at a prior salon in Bastrop (recently closed, I'll just leave that there) Makayla transformed my dead locks into something I can feel great about and have a path I'm confident in to restore my hair. I love the color she provided to match back to my natural, while giving dimension. The products she suggested have been a great investment given my disastrous presentation.
Some back story, I have never had permeate color and recently decide to get highlights. I'm a brunette and wanted something subtle, but fun. What I got was nearly blood all over. Within 10 days most of my hair broke to my jawline. I had told the stylist (at the now closed location) that my hair is fine, prone to damage and I wash nearly daily as I play tennis, swim, workout daily. She over processed my hair and had to then cut what was shoulder length hair to a short bob with bangs. Over half the volume was gone. Makayla has given me products to protect my hair so i can still style it to hide the volume loss and a beautiful color which makes is shine.

I’ve been going to Jacob for about six months since I moved to Bastrop from North Austin. I tried three different barbers in Bastrop before I found him and he was by far the best. He’s quick, professional, and never rushes. I’ve seen him every two weeks since I’ve found him and his haircuts are always consistent. You only have to tell him how you want your hair once and he’ll remember what he did the previous session. Couldn’t recommend him more!

I absolutely recommend Ulises for your boys or man’s haircuts. He’s very patient and respectful. He does a great job even if he had a hard time with the kids staying still. I can’t describe how thankful I am because it had been hard for my little one to get a haircut and he made it happen.

This is the second time that Tyler has cut my hair, and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend him and his shop.

I wanted my hair & makeup done for an event, & mistakenly waited until just a couple days prior to book an appointment. Thankfully, Makayla was kind enough to fit me into her busy schedule for hair, & Tiffany went above and beyond to find a makeup artist for me. Makayla was patient, personable, & did a superb job on my style! My makeup by Viviana was absolutely flawless, too. I greatly appreciate the salon helping to accommodate my rather last minute request—Excellent, kind service! I’ll definitely be back again!

The atmosphere here is amazing. All of the stylists are so friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did they give me an amazing cut and color but they gave me great recommendations to help my daily hair routine and maintenance. Makayla and Tiffany took great care of me.
