Historic Market Square reviews
12It's a great place to visit or bring out of town guest. Alot of food, shopping and entertainment. Music nearly every weekend, especially after spring.
I've been there during Fiesta it looked different without all the people. But it was fun seeing all the stores finding things interesting things. Although some stores were closed we had fun. Going back soon.
It's the Market Square what else is there to say. You can get a feeling of walking down the Mercado streets just south of the border without leaving town. Drinks, atmosphere, hospitality, vendors, everything is fantastic.
Extremely busy on a Sunday. All of the shops have the same stuff. Neat to see and worth a visit, but not very high quality.
First time going and we absolutely love the place and atmosphere reminded me so much of mexico its a lively place with traditional food, merchandise and music recomend to stop by if you are in the San antonio River walk area
Loving coming here. Great place to explore and take in. My kids love coming here and walking around
Definitely recommend checking out this market and grabbing some food while you're here! The street corn (from Corn Hub) is exceptional and all of the vendors here know what they're doing.
We visited on a Friday night around 8pm and most places were closed. It was mostly deserted. It was cold and several other events were going on when we visited. We will have to return during the day. It was actually peaceful there this evening.
On our trip to the Riverwalk we saw historic Market Square it's really a treat to see all different kinds of vendors my granddaughter even though she wasn't feeling well got her face painted. My friend from Michigan bought her grandbaby a cowboy hat and Boots there which were gorgeous and we enjoyed some drinks. Definitely go if you're in the area
Fun place to hang out walk around, drink & shop. Lots of little stores to buy gifts to bring back to family, leather items, tipico, Mexican related products. Huge micheladas in a jarito u take home a bunch of restaurants, on the weekends Farmer market type place.
This is definitely a go to place when visiting San Antonio. They have a lot of stuff to do and see. If you come you won’t be disappointed with all the food and drink you can find. They have a large selection of gift shops you can visit. You will find a lot of authentic mexican art and gifts to take back home. I recommend trying micheladas!
