Great show. I was bracing to spend a ton on alcohol but it actually wasn't terribly overpriced. Overpriced, yes but within expectations.

Fantastic venue for touring bands traveling through Austin or any local Austin bands playing in-between. Outdoor stage offers great views from pretty much any location. Indoor is small and beautifully intimate.think large living room.

Bars are easily reached no matter if it's before or during concert. Bathrooms here are your typical bathrooms for a bar/concert hall I'll let you use your imagination. Parking is non existent so you'll need to research safe areas you can park your car to walk to scoot in or just Uber. I think the sound could be better because if your to far left or right the speakers cast the sound to the center and some songs will just barely be understandable.

Great place to see great music. Grab a mission dog and a cold beer while you enjoy your evening!
Crooked Colors was fantastic!

Great outdoor venue. Standing room only but small and intimate for great concert atmosphere. Good bar options for a concert venue.

This venue feels like what all Rainey street venues try to achieve, except scoot inn has the outdoor space made for a bigger show. Great staff, friendly people. All around good times.

Great venue for an outdoor show. Don't wear flip flops and be aware that it's a rocky *not gravel* ground. I really love the vibe of this place. It's super easy to get an uber or left after a show ️

They got an awesome act with Slenderbodies so I appreciate them bringing in a band I love. But the post-show was a disappointment and killed my concert buzz. There wasn’t any water available as all the bars spaces shut down and didn’t allow people in. I was told to drink water out of the bathroom faucet. When I asked a security guard (who was standing next to a water cooler for the band and staff across the fence) he told me there wasn’t any and he also wouldn’t let me go back to the merch stand. I was required to exit the venue, despite 20ish people still being at the merch stand behind me.

They also can’t keep a bar tab open which is weird. Paying for a $9 shot of whiskey was excessive. I probably will only go here if invited or there’s a band I really want to see.

A great venue on the east side. It’s a big open area with limited benches and bar stools that get taken early in the night. Plenty of bars so there’s rarely a line.

First time visiting Scoot Inn. Went to see Spiritualized perform, which put on an excellent 2.5 hour show Sound was a little muddy to start but seemed to improve. The venue has room for a few hundred people, mostly standing in a roughly rectangular open sand-floored area with a raised standing/seating area all the way in the back. Facing the 4th street entrance, indoor bar near entrance on the left, stage on the right, sound techs on left across from stage, restrooms on left behind techs. Limited street parking but The Foundry, only 2 blocks away, has evening parking until 3 AM for $10 that has a guarded entry. Overall good experience and I'm sure I will return.

Beautiful outdoor music venue. Good location. I'm struggling to find the history of the place. Says it was established in 1871, and is "Historic", but can't find a Wikipedia page or an "About" page on the website. Also, it's not an actual "Inn". Regardless, it's a cool honky tonk music venue and bar, with a great old times vibe.

Love this venue! The ticket prices are really inexpensive (I've paid ~$25 per ticket for shows), and it's a small venue so you can see stage from anywhere you're standing. The staff were all friendly. It is outdoors, but they have heaters on the cooler nights. I had a great time seeing Houndmouth there, and can't wait to see Bahamas and LEON.

Fantastic venue! Loved the atmosphere that is created when you are having fun and relaxing with friends all being just feet away from the live band! It's a feeling that you have to experience! Highly recommend you book your tickets now!

I only didn't give 5 because the event I attended was at the outdoor venue, and it was 35° in typically schizophrenic Austin spring weather. Great layout, not a bad SRO in the house, multiple bars around the GA area and some seating in the back.

Recently saw Houndmouth and it was one of the best experiences. Special thanks to all the staff that made it so magical!

The venue itself is super cool, love the aesthetic. You all can go to hell, I will go to Texas, yes slay. Don't buy your booze here, insanely over priced. Paid $38 for two double jack and cokes. I could buy a whole bottle of Jack for that price. Other than that, loved it. Would definitely watch another concert here. Tickets were pretty reasonably priced.

Super cute venue that has a lot of space and easy to navigate. They had a lot of heaters for a chilly night and the stage could be seen anywhere you stood.

I’m giving 4 stars because literally every staff member we encountered except for those checking us in were SO rude. The bartenders were incredibly rude when asked if they had coffee and baileys (not a dumb question…. It was 30) then asked if they had a certain type of beer… again met with attitude. Just overall acted as if they didn’t want to be there. I get it. It’s cold. But it’s your job.

Overall, loved the concert. The venue is cute. But I wouldn’t choose to go here in my own volition for no reason.

Great outdoor venue. Good sound, intimate, sight lines could be tough for short peeps, recommend getting there early if you want a spot up front.

This place has the right vibe for Austin.outdoor space, live indie music and decent drinks. Definitely a gem, enjoy it while it's here.
