Hiway 80 Rescue Mission, Longview TX

Not so bad but it can be a little rough. All depends on whom is here but HWY 80 has some strong rules to keep things safe and livable.

Be careful when you’re dropping off donations and a volunteer or whatever is taking the stuff out of your trunk. Some guy stole a separate addressed package that was obviously not a donation from the car when collecting the donated bagged items we dropped off. The package was to be taken to the post office the same day and upon arriving we discovered it had been taken in the donation drop off. After we called them they claimed they didn’t see it. A bunch of BS. Won’t be donating here again if they’ve got thieves helping themselves.

The people here are really cool. You can definitely start a new life here. They give you all you need to progress, including friends and if you’re lucky a new family. The place isn’t bad. Food breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. A bed to sleep on and a room to store your clothes.

Hwy 80 Rescue Mission is a wonderful place. They help shelter and feed men women and children in need. I volunteered there on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wonderful people.

The only good review I see here is a guy that works there. Well work is not the word I know one of the hogs at the trough

Looks a bit run down, not that bad for the side of town it's on. Just happy knowing there are places for our homeless whom need a place to go.

You can't help someone that doesn't want help. Nothing is perfect in life. But with jesus on your side, all things are possible.

The road to a New Life starts here. The seasoned experienced staff at this facility are more than willing to help someone in their journey towards finding a relationship with Christ and walking out a new life. The discipleship program is exemplary but it will challenge you. If you're trying to make changes, this is the place.but I want to issue a warning it's not high school.

My husband had to stay there when I was in the hospital I do not recommend this place if your black they have a racist man by the name of Dustin a 1% outlaw bicker whom I seen for my self kick a black man that was disabled out and called him a boy and the n word not cool if this place is christ like. They treated my husband well up to that point when they found out he likes hanging out with people of color. I am grateful that he had a place to sleep other than that no I do not recommend this place especially if you're black.

This place not only give people food and shelter, but helps them come closer to God and better themselves to become a productive part of the community. They have crowns stored in heaven.

In March of 2022 I became homeless and I was taken to the highway 80 women's rescue mission in Longview Texas I am very happy with this place I came in they welcomed me found me a bed right away they treat you like family here

I had permission to leave for two days.becouse the 17 year dope fean that they had working did not do his job. I lost every.how is that helping eney one out.all they won't is the publics money.dont donate they take home what they won't and give the pore mouthing.hell staff ant never their.they live off the pore.no help.fore us.keep giveing your money to support long heird trash that worked their.

This is a great place for those in need or those that have lost their way and have no place to go.

I picked up a old friend just came into town up to his old ways still I have unconditional love I treated him as such an old friend even though he's in a shelter he still gets money he could have been one of my boys one of my pockets I thought he could have bought I smoke she could smoke etcetera this is the low if you ain't got you can't put up but you still welcome what if you have been holding your pocket you are treated as a thief Robin from Friendship fellowshipping

Place to lay your head. Good folk from all walks. Food was pretty tasty too. Thank you for everything.
