Hix Auto is a great place to get maintenance and work done on your vehicle. The staff is great and very knowledgeable in auto care. The young man that works there explained in clear details about my cars problem and how it can be fixed. This business is a great community asset.

Best mechanic I've met. Knowledgeable, prompt, qualified certified mechanics. You can't get this kind of work from these guys that work from home. His has the tools needed to work on your vehicles. And if he just happens to not have the tool he will go get what he needs. Friendly service and can keep the most frenzied person calm as he explains the issues with the car owner. John Hix really knows his stuff, if your looking for a really good mechanic the John Hix is the mechanic for you. If you want someone who will charge you 1000s and your car still not fixed go to pep boys or some other mechanic. John Hix will fix your vehicle and guarantee his work. No Sloppy work from him. John and his Team did a great job converting my 83 Jeep CJ7 from carburetor to electronic fuel injection. I’m extremely happy with the finished project. He also completed a full wiring harness upgrade among several other items. Great shop! I’ll be back!

They replaced two O2 sensors. One of them I tried myself and another friend helped, could not do it. The technician that took them out also had a hard time but he managed to get them out. They were courteous and very knowledgeable.

Jon Hix and his entire team wear Capes in my Granddaughters eyes. She was out with her siblings and Mother when her Best Friend Thorn (Bearded Dragon) got away from her. He immediately got up under the dash and wasn’t coming out. He had gotten stuck in some of the electrical harness. Jon called an all hands on deck and a big thank you to Mr. Tex, he was able to retrieve Thorn and return him safe and sound. These are very caring and Christian people.
